I made my way across the Entrance Hall going towards the great hall for breakfast. I opened the doors to the great hall and noticed only a couple of professors sitting at the head table. I started to take a left turn to the Slytherin table without being noticed by the marauders is what they call themselves.
"Oi, Snivellus," an all too familiar voice echoed in the great hall, "are you wearing trousers under your robes today? Or are you too old-fashioned that you aren't allowed to?"
I shook my head and walked away from them letting my long black hair fall in front of my face. I did have trousers on. With the examinations back in June it was too hot so why not go commando? That was a bad idea.
I sat down at the Slytherin table and waited for them all to leave. I wanted to be alone and not be beaten. I watched as all of them left the great hall. I stood up and walked to the doors opening them slowly. I got out of the doors and started to make my way to the dungeons. "Where do you think you are going, Snivellus?" I turned around to see Black.
"I could ask you the same thing," I said, "as this is the way to the dungeons. You are as stupid as you look, Black." Feisty "Do you know what day it is?"
"I'm not sure what day it is, Snivellus, care to enlighten me?" I rolled my eyes and turned around. Making my way to my chambers.
"Snivellus," he paused, "what day is it?"
"It's a full moon today," I said, "and I don't see your best friend with you?"
"He has detention today," he sneered, "thanks to you. Are you ever going to keep your big nose out of people's business, Snivellus?"
I hated that 'nickname' I wanted them to stop using it. "I wasn't talking about Potter, he acts like a fool then he can serve the detention. I was talking about your friend, Black, you know the one that always disappears on a full moon, like it is today?"
"Wait really?" Black asked, "I must not pay attention much."
"I saw him going to the Whomping Willow with Madam Pomfrey a couple of months ago. Why would they be?"
Black got closer to me, "Now you listen to me, Snivellus-''
"I see I have poked the bear," I smiled, "how does he get past the whomping willow?"
"You can get past the whomping willow if you pull down your trousers and yell I'm an idiot," Sirius chuckled.
"I'm not an idiot," I stated.
"Fine, if you want to know how to get past the whomping willow and find out what Remus is doing then I will tell you."
"What is the catch?"
"You leave me, Remus, James, and Peter alone," Black said, "deal?"
"Deal," I said. What an idiot. I am happy to never have them near me again.
"It's simple really," he said, "the knot on the tree trunk you will take a long stick and poke it nice and hard. It will stop instantly."
"That seems stupid," I said, "you are lying."
"I guess if you think I am lying then you won't go," he said.
"Move out of my way," I pushed past Black.
"Don't you forget our deal, Snape?" Black yelled.
