"DO YOU believe in soulmates?" Laurentius asks the person in his arms.

They are currently on Denryl's bed with tangled sheets as they lay there for a while. Still naked, Laurentius held Denryl as he softly touches his body parts with care and gentleness. Denryl kind of loving the warmth that they shared together. Denryl can also feel the faint vibrations on his face whenever Laurentius spoke.

"Yes," Denryl answered colly. "And I thought Jeimson was my soulmate. Alam mo iyon, sobrang lunod ko sa isipang perpekto siya para sa akin kaya akala ko noon siya na ang para talaga sa akin." Denryl took a deep sigh. "But I guess we are not."

"If you'll ask me, I think I believe in soulmates, too," sabi roon ni Laurentius at ngayon ay medyo humigpit ang yakap niya sa lalaking katabi. "This person that made me think they're my soulmate made my stomach flipped when the first time I saw them. I'll use secret and mysterious sentence---something---pronouns, by the way. So, yeah. Everytime they look in my way, I feel like my breath hitched and my sole purpose in life became useless. You know, if all I ever wanted was them and I could . . . I would give up my rich life just to be with that person. That's how desperate I am to have them in my life," mahabang kuwento roon ni Laurentius.

Parang may kung anong lumungkot sa kalooban ni Denryl sa narinig. If he has found his soulmate, bakit sila ngayon magkasama sa iisang kama? Why did he make him feel like he's safe and the greatest person he'd been with? Ginawa niya lang ba ang mga iyon upang gamitin? Pampalipas oras? Parausan?

"Are they pretty?" tanong doon ni Denryl at pinigilan huwag magboses selos ang kaniyang tono.

Laurentius smiled and he said in dreamily state, "Yes. Yes, he is. The most beautiful person I've ever seen. He's like a delicate flower that even the harsh winds cannot take him down."

"H-Him?" gulat na tanong ni Denryl doon. Laurentius chuckled because of this.

"I slipped. Oops." Nanlaki ang mata ni Denryl sa narinig. So Laurentius continued. "The thing is, I was that harsh wind who wanted to take him down. I was just influenced with the fact that he's with somebody else. That should be me, you know? But still, he fought back, he never let the harsh winds affect him. He's the strongest person I've known aside from my mother. And I very admire that," mahabang salaysay ni Laurentius doon.

Thinking of the person, Denryl is curious who this was. If Laurentius was homophobic, who could make this straight guy gay for them?

"Do I know this person?"

"In fact, you do."

"R-Really?"

Laurentius heave a deep sigh. "You're clueless, aren't you?" He chuckled.
