Chapter 1

Isagi's POV:

We lost.

We lost against Rin again.

We failed to get Bachira back.

Was it luck that the ball went to Rin? If it didn't go to Rin, would we have won? It doesn't matter now because we lost and that's it. One of us will be joining team red, I bet they will pick Nagi, I mean the others are good but Nagi's flow is truly incredible.

It's over.

I was on the ground, trying to control the tears that were about to burst. Looking down, I heard two distinct voices.

"We should pick-" - Bachira till he was cut off by somebody

"Shut up, I'm deciding." - Rin

"Rin" - Aryu

"And no objections allowed, the final play of the game, I was unable to read it. I haven't felt defeated like this since I came here not until that moment. So now there's one more person I need to crush. " - Rin

" Damn it all. " - Rin

"I won't let you sink back down." - Rin

I raise my head to him

"Come along Yoichi Isagi, I will become the best in the world and when I do, your gonna have a front-row seat. "- Rin

I don't understand.

Why me? What was I missing?

What did he do that I didn't?

Does it all come down to luck?

"Hey Isagi, let's go " - Bachira

"Right, I'll be there" - Isagi

"I'm sorry" - Isagi

"We almost made it happen, We were so close to beating them. That last goal was nothing but luck and chance." - Isagi

"That's the last thing we wanna hear. They selected you over us." - Chigiri

"So shut up." - Chigiri

"If I keep looking at you, I will kill you." - Baro

"After all you are the main character and were just side characters to support you but I swear, next time we meet your finished." - Nagi

"We will crawl our way to the top without you ." - Nagi

I owe these guys everything. Without them, I wouldn't have even made it this far. Baro, Nagi, and Chigiri, I am glad I fought and played along with you guys, we gave it our all.

"You three better catch up so I better see you guys later." - Isagi

I walked into the winning tunnel

While we were walking, the conversation started

"Glad to have you, If Rin wants you then you have to be special. I didn't mean it like that, I mean I would have picked you too." - Tokimitsu

"Oh, Thank You" - Isagi

"I will be honest with you, my choice would have been Chigiri but that black heel shot was glam so I don't mind." - Aryu

"Appreciated" - Isagi

"You promised you would steal me back but the opposite happened." - Bachira

"Yeah, sorry about that, that was kinda lame." - Isagi
