(Horikita Suzune's POV)
The festival has begun and with it...my very first moment of peace in mind.
Me and Ryuuen have agreed to have no quarrels between one another over the fact we're both doing maid cafe's and he agreed, it seems he and Lelouch aren't on good terms and he doesn't wish for any battles without his leader.
Understandable for sure...even i don't want battles without Ayano and Ayanokoji, i know i could make it through with Yuuichi but...those two put my mind at ease often.
Truth be told i used to admire Ayano's calm mind and carefree self, she put all her faith onto the one man she loved, i often thought to myself if i should ever follow such a path but i always hit myself in the head afterwards.
'No Suzune, you're not like that, what sort of man would even fall in love with a cold woman like you?!' i thought...very often, i know i do not fall low in the stupid beauty chart that the boys have but i did often wonder about if someone will.
The only idiot who came to mind was...Yuuichi, i cannot believe myself when i say this but...i suppose i do find him...enticing.
He's an odd man for sure, he loves to play games with everyone's mind and he doesn't back away from overdoing things.
I trusted him often, even in his betrayals i found myself being extra hurt by it, even though that bastard blatantly sexually harrassed me on one of the first weeks of the school and poked his nose in my business...i still think he did it for something good.
I know he's a terrible person but...i still wish to believe he doesn't wish for anything more than whatever idiotic friendship Ayanokoji and the others granted us...

"Suzune Suzune, check this out!" Yuuichi said to me as we stood before one of the stalls in the festival.
It's one of those old goldfish catching games where you use a net to catch a fish and it's yours to raise.
Yuuichi lowered his hand down with the net in hand close to two goldfishes, who oddly enough weren't gold at all.
One was purple and the other was black in color, i found them to be kind of adorable to be honest.
Yuuichi then swooped the two of them in one scoop and put them in the bag...how the hell?!.
"Keheheheheh i still got it!" he said as he handed the bag with the two fishes in it to the student running the stall who tied it and then gave us the bag after we paid.
I sighed slightly as Yuuichi turned to me and grinned.
"Today...we're having fish for dinner...kekekeke"
"Huh?..." i muttered in shock as Yuuichi's evil smile slowly went down into a bright one and he chuckled.
"I am just kidding Suzune, anyways...i'll buy you a small fish bowl so you can keep them like you wanted!"
I stayed silent before sighing and nodding.
"Thanks...Yuuichi" i muttered slightly as he put them in between my arms very carefully.
I felt the corners of my mouth form a small smile as i stared at them...they're truly interesting, they seem quite calm even though their enviorment changed, what odd little fishes...
I looked up and found Yuuichi smirking at me slightly.
"My oh my, Suzune-sama did you get so soft over the years or do my eyes betray me?"
