I Met This Girl

One Shot Story

I did not know what was wrong with me.
She is not not the kind of girl I like to have, I do not even prefer the way she dresses. She usually wears big T-Shirts, and she prefers them in black. She moves like boyish. Many times, she listens to rock songs which I really do not like.

Well.... okay, fine..I am starting to like it because of her.
I heard her playing that kind of music many times since her room is next to my room.

Why did I fall inlove with her?

I do not know.
I always see her mysterious eyes, and they always look sad.
I really hope that I could make her happy, because everytime she is happy, her eyes spark like wonderful stars in the sky at night.

I met her in the school where we both teach English to foreigners.
As time went by,I learned some things about her that made me more interested to know her more.
However, she does not like talking about personal things, like love life and family matters.

The first thing I discovered about her, she cannot sleep alone without lights. She cannot stand darkness. I really wanted to know the reason why, but I was ashamed to ask her.

The second thing I learned about her, she does not eat any foods with liver, I learned it when she asked me a favour to buy her dinner.She emphasized not to buy any dish with liver as if something terrible would have happened if she had eaten that.

Third, she likes eating chicken head with a lot of spicy vinegar. But what is weird about this cute girl is that.. that is the only spicy food she eats. Other than that, she doesn't eat any spicy foods anymore.

Fourth, she likes zombie movies. Everytime I ask her what she likes to watch, she always tells me,
"Nood tayo ng zombie movies." (Let's watch zombie movies)

Fifth, she does not listen to kpop or jpop. She is not a fond of them. We are exact opposite in that case. I like them. As I said a while ago, She is a fond of Rock music. She always listens to One Ok Rock, a japanese rock band from Japan. I didn't even know that there was a band like that..
I always make fun of the name of the band to her, like.. One Ok Rock, Two Ok Rock, Three Ok Rock,... then she will gaze angrily at me, but for me, it is cute.

Ang weird ko din. (I'm weird as well)

As time went by, I, myself, searched the band sometimes as well because I wanna know what she likes about this band. She has a good taste because yeah, it's are cool. She also likes All Time Low, another Rock Band from the USA. I heard her playing many of their songs with her guitar, and she is good at playing the guitar, anyway. If you listen to her songs, she can use an acoustic guitar to create a bass sound. She also listens to Avril Lavigne, Green Day, Simple Plan and other rock bands from the past. She never told me these things I am saying. I just know them based from my observations.
Does it mean I always observe her?

One Sunday night, I saw her sitting on a bench with earbuds on her ears. Maybe she was listening to rock songs again.

My feet brought me to her. I greeted her and asked, "Malakas ba wifi?" (Is the Wifi strong?)
She removed her earbuds.
She did not glimpse at me,but she just answered, "So-so." while she was still busy typing.
I sat beside her, probably 24 inches. I tried to start a conversation. I could smell her perfume. Bulgari. She does not know that this made her more desirable for me.
"Do you know E-girls?"
"I am sorry, I do not know them., it is maybe a girls group" She answered. I know that she does not like pure girly style. If she was my girlfriend, I would teach her about the fashion of women that we, men, like.However, I think I am contented already to her style. It is natural.
