In this alternative version of Twilight, Bella is not the least bit interested in Edward, while he is still deeply in love with her.

Edward Cullen had always been drawn to Bella Swan, ever since she arrived in Forks, Washington to live with her father. He was intrigued by her quiet demeanor, her love for books, and her determination to fit in despite being the new girl in town. But Bella never seemed to reciprocate his feelings. She was polite and friendly, but she didn't seem to share the intense attraction that Edward felt for her.

Despite this, Edward couldn't help but be protective of Bella. He watched over her from a distance, always keeping an eye out for danger. And there was plenty of danger in Forks, especially for a human girl like Bella. Edward knew that the other vampires in town were a constant threat, especially the ones who didn't share his family's commitment to a peaceful existence.

One day, as Bella was walking home from school, she was attacked by a group of vampires. Edward, who had been following her discreetly, sprang into action. He fought off the attackers and saved Bella's life, but she was still terrified by the experience. She didn't understand what had happened, or why these creatures were after her.

Edward knew that he had to tell Bella the truth, even though it would mean revealing his own secret. He took her to his family's home and explained everything to her. He told her about his family's history, their special abilities, and their commitment to living peacefully among humans. He also revealed that he was in love with her, but that he would never force her to feel the same way.

Bella was overwhelmed by the revelation. She couldn't believe that vampires were real, or that one of them was in love with her. She didn't know how to respond to Edward's feelings, but she knew that she didn't share them. She appreciated his bravery and his kindness, but she didn't feel any romantic attraction to him.

Edward was heartbroken by Bella's response, but he respected her decision. He continued to watch over her, but he tried to keep his distance. He knew that he couldn't force her to feel something that wasn't there, and he didn't want to jeopardize their friendship.

Despite the awkwardness of their situation, Edward and Bella continued to spend time together. They went on hikes, watched movies, and talked for hours about everything under the sun.
