"shit, that fucking burns!" javier hissed as memo soaked javier with holy water from head to toe.
alexis and kevin were all up on javier's face, talking about "we need content for the movie!" while arguing with edson who kept telling them to take this seriously.
javier couldn't help but feel dizzy, maybe it was because he was being exorcized or because the bath and body works candles were getting too him.
"shush my children!" memo yelled at the ones bickering behind him. "now.. where was i.." he goes back to watching the step- by- step 'how to remove demon from friend' tiktok as he aimlessly soaked javier with holy water.
'now repeat these words after me.. demon begone, leave this body and go back to where you're from.."
memo pauses the video and turns around to see everybody uninterested, "no puedo ser el unico llamandole al diablo!"
everyone groans pull follows memos demands. "demon begone.. leave this body and go back to where you're from." everybody chants.
"okay now repeat this ten times before we continue onto the next step.. after you repeat this ten times the demon should be escaping by now, remember to sprinkle with holy water"
"demon begone.. leave this body and go back to where you're from." they all repeat, except for javier who wants to laugh at how dumb this homemade exorcism is.
"demon begone.. leave this body and go back to where you're from." again "demon begone.. leave this body and go back to where you're from."
javier began to feel a sudden urge to stretch his legs, it was like that feeling when someone was plucking his brows.
"demon begone leave this body and go back to where you're from." and by the fourth chant he felt a joint pop, and honestly he was scared shitless.
"okay this is dumb.." javier got up from the couch once nothings was happening. "what.. where are you even going?" mes eyes followed him.o "i just feel like it wasn't working!" he shrugged avoiding memos who knew javier too well. because in one glance, memo knew what was up.
"why are you resisting, huh?" diego interrogated, as alexis had his phone all up on chichas face. "im- im not! alexis get that shit away from me." javier squinted his eyes caused by the flash on alexis phone.
"oh my god.. the demon is about to come out.." kevin said before memo spoke up. "let's get this over with.." memo got closer to him and splashed him with holy water.
"demon begone leave this body and go back to where you're from." they all chanted as they crowded around him so he wouldn't escape.
"that shit doesn't work! i'm telling y'all!" javier yells as they kept ignoring him. "demon begone leave this body and go back to where you're from."
"stop, i'm serious.." he tried but by that time, his chest felt like he was being stabbed, he was feeling all kinds of hurtful things in his body but he felt like he was choking back on something.
"demon begone.. leave this body and go back to where you're from." it was the 8th time they chanted the sentence, only two more to go.
the candle lights were close to blowing out
"demon begone leave this body and-" "what the fuck are y'all doing?!" the one to cut the sentence off was none other than chucky.
he turned the lights on and saw his dumb friends huddled up chanting something he couldn't hear right because they were all saying it at different times.
thanks to chucky, javier wasn't feeling like he was a second ago, he no longer felt like he was getting stabbed nor something crawling on his throat.
"y'all looked like dumbasses!" chucky yelled, and right behind him.. javier heard someone laugh, but not just any laugh but a girls laugh. as far as he knew there wasn't any girl in the house today.
javier was the only one who noticed, both kevin and alexis turned around at where the sound was coming from.
"chucky you're so funny!" all three of them saw a feminine hand slap his shoulder. everybody could see how chucks face started heating up.
"wey.. who's that with you?" kevin asked getting a bit close. "since when did you invite a girl over?" javier chuckled walking towards him.
diego, edson and memo stayed silent; they were all confused on what was going on. "what girl?" diego spoke. "that girl," alexis pointed to the shadow of a girl.
the only reason they couldn't see her was because chucky was covering her by standing by the entry of the living room.
"there's literally nothing there." memo shook his head, not seeing nobody but chucky. chucky shakes his head before asking, "who here has touched chichas key chain?"
all of them except lozano looked at each other before alexis and kevin raised their hands. "i'm so confused.. what does that have to do with the girl?" kevin scratched his head. "what are you even seeing?" edson was genuinely confused.
and that's when it clicked to javier. this was the demon that's been possessing him for a while now. "no way.." he gets closer to lozano, getting closer to the demon who's been haunting him.
his heart beating rapidly as he got closer, but instead of seeing that ugly demonic thing he saw a pretty young woman.
the only thing that changed about her was the flower she had tucked behind her ear wasn't dead but pink and very much healthy, the white dress wasn't dirty and torn but clean.
"a-are you.." javier just couldn't believe it as he got a closer look at her face. adorable (c/e) eyes, long lashes and plumped lips.
javier was about to say the unthinkable and say she looked like she came straight out of heaven when it was quite the opposite.
the girl pouts once she sees how frightened javier is, she didn't mean to scare him at all! all she wanted was to ask him to clean her!
"im so sorry for tormenting you! i didn't mean too i swear! im just.. really not myself.. i get cranky when i'm dirty.." the demonic girl scratches her arm, too embarrassed to look at him.
javier couldn't believe it, he turns to lozano. "chuck.. you see her too?" lozano nods his head. 'good.. i'm not going crazy.' javier thought to himself.
"catch me before i faint." he spoke softly before he falls backwards and hits the ground.
"someone quick! my husband just fainted!" the demonic girl ran to sit next to javier in panic. only edson, diego and memo ran to javier without thinking.
the other three who could see the demon took their time to register what she said, "wait did you just say, you're husband?!"

haven't been here in a while because i graduate this year and i was getting my shit together.. also i graduate tomorrow.
