The Colonel is hosting a party in his dorm tonight. Everyone is invited, and it's going to be the best night of the year. It's the last week of school, and everyone wants to go out and party a lot, so everyone is going to be there.

Alaska is getting ready for the party, and today she's feeling her best. She feels confident tonight, it's probably her last party at the school, and she wants to make the most out of it. Not only that, but she knows she is going to miss all her few friends, all the talks while smoking cigarettes, the quality time they've spent together, just doing nothing, or playing video games. They are all she has had in the last few years, and she is afraid of losing them. Moreover, she's been having some kind of feelings for Miles, but she hasn't been able to stop and think about them, so she is a little bit confused.

Miles is with the Colonel. They are getting everything done before the dorm gets busy and messy because of the party. This party is a different one. This one is the last one, and that means the last opportunities, last dances, and last conversations they will have with each other. During the whole time he has spent in this new school, he has been secretly in love with Alaska, and today is the day, Miles finally wants to take the risk. He actually has a girlfriend, Lara, Alaska's best friend, however, he can't say goodbye to Alaska without telling her the truth.

Lara is in her dorm, and she is feeling all the opposite of Alaska. She has always felt that she isn't enough for Miles, because he is in love with Alaska. But, instead of saying something, she has always preferred to keep quiet to have a minimum of attention from Miles. This night feels different. She wants to tell him that he doesn't deserve her, that she deserves much better, a person who sees her potential, someone who can appreciate her value, someone who truly loves her because of who she is.

This night is going to be a pretty intense night. Lots of feelings are coming out today, it's a night of goodbyes, and confessions.
