The party has started and everyone is there. As soon as Alaska arrives at the party, she looks for Miles. She wants to spend the time left with him and the others.
They finally get to meet each other, and instead of going where there are the others, they decide to go to a place where they can be more separated from the others. They both have a lot to say, but they don't know where to start, it's too much information.
- Well, Miles... - Alaska finally starts the conversation.- I think we have to talk about something before we say goodbye.
Thanks to her courage, they start talking, and they confess everything to each other. After a long time of hiding their feelings, they finally tell each other every feeling, every sensation, every thought, and every word they haven't said until this moment.
It's been an intense moment, and they stare at each other. Now they are vulnerable, and they are looking forward to being free, and enjoying this last night, so, it happens. After all these months, they finally kiss. And it's a magical kiss, an intimate and deep
Lara sees them kissing, and she gets furious. She was already insecure about this before, but now that she has seen it with her own eyes, she's sad and angry. She goes directly to them and grabs Alaska from her ponytail. In a very aggressive way, Lara takes Alaska into her dorm. Lara is disgusted, how can her best friend do such a thing? She just wants to scream everything out.
- What the fuck were you thinking about Alaska?! He's my fucking boyfriend!
- Lara... I'm sorry, it's just-
- I don't fucking care about your excuses or justifications. What the fuck, Alaska?!
They were both overwhelmed. Too much drinking, too much yelling, too much everything. Alaska grabs a cigarette, just like always, and goes to the balcony, this way she can avoid the smoke detectors, and tries to calm down, but Lara is still mad.
- I thought we were best friends, do you think a friend would do this? Do you think I would do this to you?!
- I'm sorry Lara, I know I've fucked up everything, but I had to do it...
- You had to do it?! Really?!
Lara starts to get closer and closer to Alaska, who is still on the balcony smoking her cigarette, trying to control herself.
- Please Lara don't touch me, please
- Don't tell me what to do! SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Lara pushes Alaska off the balcony, and she falls floors and floors down. Lara looks around to see if anyone was around, but fortunately for her, there wasn't anyone. She goes to the parking and gets her car to put Alaska inside. She is unconscious, but not dead. Lara puts her friend in the back of the car, and drives away, just to get far from the school.
From the distance, she notices a blue light. It is probably a police car, so she decides to stop and think about what to do with the body. Lara touches her and realizes that Alaska is already dead and as a way of not seeming super suspicious, she decides to put her friend as the copilot.
Lara is super nervous, and now she is thinking about what is her labyrinth. Does she prefer the labyrinth or ending with her suffering? She has never been a very open person, so not many people know her pretty well and one of the people who knew her was Alaska, and at the moment her dead body is beside her. She has been suffering a lot from insecurities, comparing herself with her best friend Alaska, or really with anyone who was around her. Lara has had a difficult childhood, and that has influenced her whole life experience.
Slowly, she's getting closer and closer to the police car, and getting more and more nervous, and suddenly, she steps on the accelerator to avoid being stopped by the policeman, but she loses control. All of a sudden, the car collides with the police unit, and now they are both unconscious. Alaska is dead, and Lara is unconscious, but with a murder to handle.
