Before going to his apartment, Taehyung decided to visit the grave of his new daughter's mother.

How could he forget her?

Today, because of that brave woman, he held this little angel in his arms. She was truly a great mother, someone who chose her child's life over her own. Perhaps that's what all mothers do-sacrifice without hesitation.

He arrived at the graveyard, cradling the tiny, delicate bundle in his arms. As if sensing the shift in atmosphere, the baby suddenly woke up and began crying loudly.

Taehyung froze for a moment, panic flickering in his eyes. She couldn't be hungry; the nurse had fed her just before they left. Then why was she crying so suddenly?

He continued walking toward the grave, gently rocking her in an attempt to soothe her cries, but nothing seemed to work. However, the moment they reached the grave, something peculiar happened-the baby abruptly stopped crying. Her large, curious eyes darted around, as though she were searching for something-or someone.

Taehyung frowned in confusion but soon realized the reason behind her strange behavior. He knelt before the grave, carefully placing the baby atop the tombstone.

The baby's restless gaze stilled, her tiny eyes fixing on the grave as if she had found what she was looking for. Taehyung watched in silent awe, a wave of emotion washing over him. Somehow, despite never having seen or felt her mother's presence, the baby seemed to recognize her. Of course-she had spent nine months in her mother's womb. That connection couldn't be severed by death.

His thoughts were interrupted by the soft sound of giggles. He blinked, startled, only to see his daughter smiling and laughing at the grave, as if she were conversing with her mother. Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes, and he wasn't alone. Standing a few steps behind, Jimin and Percy observed the scene, their eyes glistening with unshed tears.

Taehyung couldn't help but remember the first time he had visited his own parents' and sister's graves. The overwhelming grief, the ache of loss-it all came rushing back to him now.

But there were two others witnessing the moment, unseen by the living. With soft smiles and tear-filled eyes, they gazed at the child who was now beaming up at them, as if offering silent reassurance.

"Forgive us, our angel, for leaving you like this," whispered the mother's spirit. "But we're at peace knowing you're in safe hands now."
