Weather man said it's gonna snow
By now I should be used to the cold

Mabel sat in an empty room. It was cold, dark and quiet. All she could hear were the sounds of her breath, and her quiet hiccups.
She hugged her knees, for some reason, she felt awful. It had been so long, but she still felt hatred toward herself. She knew this was all her fault. Everyone said it wasn't. They said, "you didn't know."
They said, "you did what you could,"
They said that this wasn't her fault. They all tried to comfort her, to no avail. She hated them. Not because she felt remorse. It was because of the fact that they told her it wasn't her fault.

Mid-February shouldn't be so scary
It was only December
I still remember the presents, the tree, you and me

It was as clear as day. It was two days after Christmas. The twins decided to spend it over at Gravity falls since they had already graduated. She and Dipper were taking a daily walk in the forest.
Snow was falling, which made this a one of a kind walk. It was peaceful. That is until an echoing maniacal laugh filled the air. The twins looked around and spotted a tall man. Blonde, no, yellow hair. Black and white suit. Bow tie. Top hat. Eyepatch.
It was no other than the dream demon, Bill Cipher. Both Dipper and Mabel thought the man had returned for the journals, like always.
Turns out, he had come back for the male twin. Mabel was confused. She didn't know what he meant by that.
"You see, Shooting Star," The demon began, "Pine tree is now and will forever be my meatpuppet." He said with an evil laugh. Mabel looked at Dipper, with wide eyes. She remembered the "Bipper" incident from before, but she thought it was over after that. Apparently not.
Her brother merely glared at Bill. "The deal was you wouldn't come near us." He said in an angry tone. The man simply cackled and wiped a fake tear from his eye, "ah, Pine tree, Ya sure know how to make a demon laugh."
Mabel glanced back and forth between the two and began to worry. "Dipper..?"
With a shaky sigh, Dipper turned to his sister. "Listen mabel. I'm .... Going to be gone for a while." He said silently and brought his sister into an embrace. Suddenly he whispered softly, "I'll be back soon...its up to you to keep Stan and the others safe." Mabel knew he meant the journals. It was what Bill was after anyway. She nodded, forcing back tears. "I will." She said, hugging him tight. Another sigh escaped Dippers lips as he tried to comfort his sister. Mabel choked back tears, but it didn't seem to work.
"Ugh, what sappy crap. Pine tree! Hurry up, we got business to do. I ain't got all day." The dream demon said from behind them.
Dipper eventually let go of his sister, but her hand quickly grabbed his arm. She didn't want to let go. Not yet. She never wanted to let go. Dipper frowned and yanked his hand away. "Later Mabes..." He mumbled, "I love you."
And with that, Both males had disappeared, leaving the young woman behind to weep to herself.

But you went away
How dare you?
I miss you

The long haired woman stared at her phone. Nothing. Not one call. Was the world ignoring her? With a sigh, she put her phone down and glanced out the window. Snow began falling from the sky. Her eyes began to water. Was this a curse? Was this some sort of spiritual beings' way of telling her she screwed up? She hugged her knees and sat in front of the apartment's back porch door, watching the small flakes of snow fall.

They say I'll be OK
But I'm not going to ever get over you

With every snowflake that had been falling on the ground, memories raced through her mind. She found herself sobbing uncontrollably and gripped her knees tighter. She wanted to forget it. All of it.

Living alone here in this place
I think of you, and I'm not afraid

She looked up, and there, on the coffee table, was a series of images. All photography from when they were younger. From 5 years old, to recently. 2 months ago. Each picture was similar. He and Mabel. Smiling toward the camera. Whether she was in his arms or just there, she didn't care. Those were her memories. And no one could ever take that from her. She remembered how whenever she would cry after the death of their Parents, Dipper would hug her and remind her that...it would be alright. Because she still had him. But now..she had no one.
