Chuck Versus Beckman

Finally after cleaning up all the mess Chuck asked Sam if she wanted to open her presents. Of course her response would be something along the lines of 'Well we can't just leave them here now can we?' And that's exactly what she said.

"I want Awesomes first." She said meaning that she wanted to open the present Devon got her.

"Okay then." Chuck said with a goofy smile while he started opening the present Devon gave her.

And guess what it was...

A stuffed 'Devon' teddy. They started making these when Devon saved the owner of some teddy bear factory.

"Oh my God, really?" I said unbelievably.

Soon we finished opening everyone's presents and Sam made a small 'shelf' out of all her new toys. She wouldn't let us take her for a bath until she was done!

"Sarah!" I heard Chuck shout from the bathroom.

Instinctively I jogged, half ran up the stairs and to the bathroom to see what was wrong. As soon as I entered I got soaked with the shower head.

"Chuck!" I screamed.

In return me and Sam jumped on him and tickled him. (He was always the ticklish one.) His laughter boomed throughout the house on top of ours. Sam was having so much fun she couldn't stop laughing which distracted me from Chuck. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me down next to him.

"Your turn now." He whispered into my ear.

"Unluckily for you Mr, I'm not ticklish." I said back.

"No, no, no, not in that way. Let's just get the little one to bed first."

After only 10 minutes, Chuck had gotten Sam down for the night and came back to me in our bedroom.

"Now that was the longest and the most weird day of my life." He said while brushing his teeth in the en suite bathroom.

"I know but it was your idea to have a child. I do love her but you just couldn't wait to start a family." Sarah said.

I just couldn't wait because I thought I had lost you forever and this wouldn't really happen. So all I could do was make it happen.

"Just pick a movie and get into bed will you." Sarcastically I said this but I don't think Sarah knew that.

"Sarah?" I asked

"Yes Chuck?"

"You know I love you right?"

"Yes Chuck, I know and I love you too."

That's all I needed to hear.
