I spent a good while getting ready. I decided to curl my hair and made sure every strand of hair was in its place before starting on my makeup
I decided to do a soft look that I was comfortable with I didn't want to attempt anything I hadn't done before.
I went through my closet trying to find the perfect dress to wear. After turning my closet inside out, I finally found a dress that I hadn't had an opportunity to wear yet. It was perfect.
A classic satin red dress that had jewelled straps. The dress hugged my curves in all the right places, and the jewelled straps added a touch of elegance to the outfit.
I slipped into the dress, admiring myself in the mirror. I looked good, confident and ready for this date. I finished up by slipping into a pair of heels and spraying some of my favourite perfume
Pietro arrived at exactly 5 outside my door he was dressed in a black suit and he looked absolutely amazing.
"Wow you look-" Pietro started at a loss for words, my cheeks heated up as I thanked him, he complimented me so often yet every time it happened I lost all composure.
"You look incredibly handsome," I said as he held out his arm which I gratefully took, I felt a rush of excitement and nerves as we walked towards the elevator.
We arrived at a fancy restaurant that overlooked the city, and Pietro had already made reservations. I was surprised he found this place considering he was new to the city.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect, there was dim lighting, candles everywhere, and a soft jazz band playing in the background.
We got seated and ordered our food, the conversation flowed easily between us. Pietro was funny, and charming, and had a way of making me feel like I was the only person in the room.
As we chatted, I couldn't help but admire Pietro. He had a way of captivating me with his words and his gestures. The way he smiled at me, the way he held my hand, it all made me feel like I was in a fairytale.
As we finished dinner, Pietro stood up, holding out his hand to me. I took it and raised my eyebrows and he just shrugged in response, he led me out to the balcony. The view was stunning, the city lights were twinkling in the distance and there was a soft breeze in the air.
"Can I ask you something?" he said, turning to face me.
"Of course," I said, my heart racing with anticipation. I think I knew what was coming.
"Will you officially be my girlfriend?" he asked, a nervous look on his face. It was so cute how he still felt nervous.
"Yes, I never thought you'd ask," I said, a huge smile spreading across my face.
"Slowly but surely," he said and it was clear to me that Pietro took taking things slow seriously and I appreciated that.
He leaned in and kissed me, the world melting away around us. It was a perfect moment, one I would never forget.
As we pulled away from the kiss, I couldn't help but feel like I was floating on air. This was exactly what I had been hoping for, and I was so glad that Pietro had taken the initiative to make it official.
I couldn't believe how lucky I was to have found someone like him, someone who made me feel so happy and fulfilled. Every moment with him felt like a dream come true.
