My name is Shawn-im a veteran Pokemon trainer from Hoenn, and this is my story
I was born on December 26th in a small home in Mossdeep City. My family was just me, my mom, my dad and his Gallade who he always kept by his side. When I was 5, my mom got brain cancer and died within 1 month, after she died my home life went from normal and happy to a hell hole. 1 week after she died the abuse began, my dad who I once loved and trusted, was now beating me to where I couldn't even move. His Gallade even helped him, the family that I onced loved was gone-i was by myself. I don't know where the strength and courage came from to live, but on my 12th birthday, I received a letter saying that I was to meet professor birch so he could put me on an assignment. Once I got to littleroot, he allowed me to choose one Pokemon. When I saw all 3 of the choices, I had a hard time choosing. I then saw him...a Mudkip who when the gazed at me....I felt something... Like I had a purposes on this earth..... Once I gor mudkip, and my pokedex I headed out to complete my newly started journey.... Just me and Mudkip.... In an open world able to do our own thing...
