Bloom Within, My Love

4 1 1

I used to think love came from somebody else,
That it was something to be given and received
Like a gift wrapped in pretty paper and bows.
But then I learned that love is something else entirely.

It's not something to be found in another person's arms,
But something that blooms deep within yourself.
It's something that starts as a tiny seed,
Buried beneath layers of doubt and fear.

But when you tend to that seed, it begins to grow,
Pushing up through the earth towards the sky,
Stretching out towards the sun with all its might.
And as it grows, it blossoms into something beautiful.

So love yourself, darling,
And let that love bloom within you.
Let it grow and flourish and shine,
Intil it radiates outwards like a beacon of light.

For there is no greater love than the love you have for yourself,
No greater joy than the joy that comes from within.
So hold yourself tight, my dear,
And never let go of that love that blooms within
