"Damn it! I need to pay this rent but... I am $300 short!" I grab my head in frustration and start tugging my hair. "Y/N, calm down. I will loan you $300... I don't mind." My friend said from behind me.
You might be wondering who is she? Well wonder no more because I will share you her name. Her name is Lucy. Lucy Anderson. She has short ginger hair with wisps of blonde hidden beneath. She is a lot taller than me. She has been my friend since primary school and she won't stop helping me with my rent!
"Ergh... thanks but... what if I can't pay it back to you. I owe you at least like... $1,500! I can't pay that back I mean... I haven't got a job anymore!" The last place I worked at was a sewing industry. I was making all sorts of stunning dresses until one day a stupid customer asked for the most bizarre, extravagant dress I have ever heard of and she wanted it done in 3 days time! Of course I couldn't do that... not in that amount of time. When the day came to give her the dress, I was still planning it out! I got fired right there on the spot. I was humiliated AND I had lost the only job that I actually liked.
"Earth to Y/N!" Lucy said whilst waving her hand over my face. A concerned look plastered all over her face. "Sorry... I just can't pay you back." Before I knew it hot streams were falling from my eyes. "Woah woah! Y/N you don't have to pay me back until you get a job and have enough money. I am your friend." She wipes my tears away with her hand and drags me to the computer. "This is where you are going to find your job!" She seemed so enthusiastic for me. 'Jobs in Hurricane, Utah' was in the search bar. "Aha! Here we go, Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria... GREAT!" Lucy chanted and she started to dance around. I guess I have no choice... although I swear this place is a game I just can't remember. It's like it's a step away from me, just out of reach. Whatever, it's probably nothing.
We walk to the pizzeria, actually I lie, I walk and Lucy skips. The building was basic on the outside, all there was to make it pop out was a bright neon sign of the pizzeria's name. "I heard that the owner is also British like you Y/N!" What? How is she getting this information? Is she like a stalker? Lucy can be a creep at times. I don't even know why she is so happy about this place too. Maybe it's because I might finally get a job.
Before I even open the door, a greasy odour fills my nostrils. My nose scrunched up in reflex to the sickly smell. Before I could even think, my hand is tugged and dragged away inside the bright and loud pizzeria. There were arcade machines and spills all over the place. "Clean that up Jessica! This place is a total mess!" A pale, slender man with messy brown hair shouted, waving his arms around frantically. Jessica had a scared face and complied with his orders. The man then looks at me dead in the eye, his eyes an icy cold blue with hints of grey. In awkwardness, I look away slightly embarrassed that he caught me staring at him.
"Do you know who that guy is?" I whisper to Lucy assuming she probably researched him like the stalker she is. "Oooh that's Mr. Afton! He co-owns this place... I heard that he is a-" Lucy gets cut off. "Oh shut up Lucy. Spreading rumours isn't nice, even if they are true. I don't even know the guy!" My left eye starts to twitch in frustration. "Was someone talking about me~?" A strong British accent said from behind me. I turn around and look at the man in more detail. White shirt. Black tie. I look at his face and realise it's Mr. Afton.
"Oh hi sir... uhmm..." I don't know what to say. His accent is so much stronger than mine. "I'm glad you have manners but you, what's your name?" He squints at Lucy and points a finger at her. "Lucy.." "Yes well you, Lucy, shouldn't be spreading rumours, especially about me in my pizzeria. I have eyes everywhere." Lucy's eyes are filled with sorrowness, tears on the brink of falling out. "I-I AM SO SORRY S-SIR!" She pleaded out. This made Afton smirk.
"It's fine, don't do it again." He says and turns around to do whatever he does at work. I suddenly realise the reason why we came here, I NEED A JOB! "W-wait sir! I actually came here to get a job..." This peaked an interest in Afton as he turned around and gestured for me to go to his office.
After turning past a few hallways, I made it to a room. 'Mr. Afton' was carved into a golden metal plate that sat nicely on the oak door. Mr. Afton held open his door for me like a gentleman. I smiled and let myself inside. "Take a seat darling!" Afton smirks and I sit infront of his desk. He then takes a seat himself in his purple armchair. "So, why do you want a job?" "I got fired from my last one for a stupid reason so I'm desperate." I say honestly. "Spare me the details. So do you kill?" "No..?" "Do you sabotage colleagues?" "What no?!" "Perfect. Do you want to be the nightguard, dayguard, chef, waiter, Henry's assistant or my assistant?" Afton then puts his elbows on his desk and holds his cheeks, giving me some sort of puppy eyed look. They already have waiters and chefs... no way I'm being a nightguard with those animatronics and dayguards are useless. The parents can do that themselves. Who even is Henry? I giggle a little bit when I look at Afton and say, "I'll be your assistant I guess." Afton's eyes widen.
Afton's POV
Me? People are always so scared of me, rightfully so. Does she not know anything? A grin grows on my face, obviously I can't mask my emotions right now. "Great! Well for starters, my name is William Afton so please, call me William. Now all you need to do is sign this contract. Don't bother reading it, it's nothing to worry about.
I look at Y/N and then hand her the paper with a pen. She looks confused but signs it. Ahh she read it... not listening to me. She will listen to me soon once I RIP HER HEAD- "William, here. Oh are you alright, you look a bit red. Should I get you some medicine?" Y/N asked, concern riddled all over her face.
Y/N's POV
I read the contract and I recognise it, I just can't remember why. I notice that William is staring at me intently and his face is red, not a blush but like a red of fury. Maybe it's because I read the contract. I pretend that he might be sick just so I don't get further into his bad side. I have a feeling he might be bad news...
"No I'm fine. Just... just go and do something. Go talk to your colleagues." I nod because I can tell he is in a bad mood and I'm not gonna test it.
I walk out of his office and go to that girl William was yelling at earlier. "Oh hey there, need anything?" She asked me. "No I just got a job here, I am Williams assistant now." I smile, obviously proud of what I got. "Eesh, sorry girlie. That's like the worst job. I'd rather be a nightguard!" I frown. "What do you mean? He is a very nice bloke. (And very good looking)." I mutter that last part. "You're British? Is it normal to be that much of a douchebag in Britain because that's what William is." Jessica had the audacity to say. I was getting kinda ticked off now, I mean why are you bringing someone's nationality into this, and shit talking it infront of someone with the same nationality? "And all British people have wonky, yellow teeth! Let me see yours!!" She teased me, reaching her hands towards my face. "Alright fuck off Jessica. I can see why William yells at you, YOU'RE A LITTLE PRICK. Now keep your hands away from me before I slice them off, bitch!" I gave her a death stare, my H/C (hair colour) hair covering parts of my face. "Oh my god... you're a freak. Bye you nobody! I'm going on my break." She strutted off to the employees only room backstage. That arsehole!
"Hey love, mind your language here. Don't want the kids to be learning it." William walked up to me and put an arm on my shoulder. "I will make her pay for that rotten attitude of hers... First I'll chop up- uhum chop her pay down to $4 an hour instead of $8. Heh..." William then patted me on the back and walked back to his office.
Wait, where's Lucy? I call her and it gets sent to voicemail. She must still be upset from earlier. Sigh... she is so sensitive.
