Derek: How is he doing. 

(Naomi on phone)

Naomi: Uncle Mark is doing much better, and he went home to his house in Golden Valley. Make sure to visit him if you can.

Derek: I will love you, Mom.

Logan: How is he.

Derek: Doing much better.

Logan: What about the other officers.

Derek: Unfortunately, they died on the way to the hospital.

Logan: This is all my fault. If I didn't set up Tyrone none of this would happen.

Derek: We're going to catch him don't worry. 

Logan: Happy birthday Sarah. Also we have an announcement to make. Sarah and I are together. Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

Derek: Finally.

Ace: About time. The way they have been googling eyes at each other in US History. Even during final weeks. Plus it's pretty obvious. 

Derek: Can't believe it's December and Sarah's birthday 2022 is almost over. Y'all got any new years resolutions.

Logan: Nah.

Sarah: Nope.

Chase: Yo yo y'all know the drill party at East Golden Valley. Time to destress over final exam weeks especially with how stressful they are. 

Logan: We'll be there.

Derek: Hey can I talk to you.

Logan: Sure.

Derek: We can't have a party in East Golden Valley.

Logan: It's where the rich people live it will be safe. 

Derek: Not with Tyrone on the loose. He's most likely planning something big. 

Logan: It's been 2 weeks if we wanted to do something he would. Stop being paranoid and have fun. 

Derek: True but I will not be your 3rd wheel. In fact Alexis and I are meeting each other for coffee.

Logan: The girl you meet at the supermarket 4 years ago. 

Derek: Yeah.

Logan: Hate to break it to you but she's gay man.

Derek: She is not gay and in fact I will ask her out at the coffee bar. 

Logan: Ok don't say I didn't warn you. 

(At Jennifer's house)

Jennifer: Naomi what are you doing here.

Naomi: Just figured I'd stop by and just chat for a bit. 

Jennifer: Okay what is on your mind.

Naomi: Well now with our eldest son in college and with Erica in high school and George being surprising independent for his age. 

Jennifer: You feel lonely. 

Naomi: I feel you sister. 

Jennifer: Look our sons will be fine and they can take themselves and they should enjoy college. They are old enough to try new things. As long as they don't make us grandmothers yet.

Naomi: Yea. 

(Jennifer lights a blunt)

Jennifer: Want a hit.

Naomi: No thanks.
