I lit up when I heard Ben's voice.

"Looks like someone's up," he said with a smile. When you first look at him from far away, he'd look normal. But when he get's closer, you'd realize he's very different...

His hair and smile was the same, but his blue eyes were still missing... What made it even more irregular is... Well, his irises were red, and his sclera (the part around the iris) was black. The worst part was, it looked as if he were crying blood. It wasn't horrific, just... it looked painful...

I gasped and reached for his face. I caressed his cheek and he put his hand on mine.

"BEN? Is that you?" I asked him with perhaps the slightest gleam of hope in my eye.

"Who else would it be?" He replied.

I smiled and tears of joy filled my eyes while my lips quivered. It was really him. I wrapped him in a bear hug and yes, I did start crying...

"See? I love you guys. I won't leave you. Not even for death."

My smile grew as we caught up on things we missed... Meeting Slender Man, being saved, and all this other stuff. It brought back my sanity.

But then, my smile faded... All the happiness in my body was gone... I remembered the reason I was even here. I killed a person...

"BEN?" My voice quivered when I called his name. He could sense the fear in my voice. I know he did.

"Yes?" He his smile faded as he stared into my eyes and said "You can tell me anything..."

I took a deep breath and recited:

"I. KILLED. CHASEN." That was it. I mentally broke down. I hugged BEN began to cry hot tears in his shoulders... The burden of the confession was great to get off my back, although it stabbed at my twisted mind and seemed to destroy my happy memories... I felt like I was... being taken over by my insanity. AGAIN.

At first, BEN seemed alarmed, but he still comforted me...

"Shh... You'll be ok..." He said, rocking me back and forth while cradling me in his arms. "It was horrible!" I kept mumbling every minute or two. He kept embracing me while saying things like "Don't worry... It's over now" and "I'm here... I won't let anything happen to you." That's what you call a true friend... Someone who would care for you until the end. Even after death.
