Part 5- Why did i sign up for this?

Ranboo woke up to a scream. 

"Tubbo?!" He yelled, sitting up fast.

Tubbo was sat up in his own bed, shaking and tears streaming down his face.

Ranboo lept from the small ladder of his bed, almost falling off and rushed towards tubbo.

He backed away towards the wall until he hit it.

"Hey, hey, it's just me, i'm not gonna hurt you."

"But I- Lani and Teagan- Did you not-"

"Hey, i'm here. I'm real ok?"

"B-but-"

Ranboo held out his hand and tubbo grabbed it, visually relived he could feel it.

"Do you wanna tell me what happened?"

There was a soft knock at the door.

"Wait here."

Ranboo awnsered with sleepy eyes and bed-head to see Dream.

"Hey, i heard a scream and it sounded like it came from this direction, do you know what it was?"

"Uhh yeah but don't worry. Can you just say its fine to anyone how comes over here? I've got more to deal with right now."

"Yeah sure. Hope it's ok."

"K thanks. Bye dream."

Ranboo turned back to tubbo.

"Hey, hey, it's fine."

"It was- I-"

"Sit down here with me ok? Do you wanna say what happened?"

"I- I was just in the place i was in for my assignment but it was empty and it was only me and the guy i killed."

Ranboo nodded.

"And then i got my gun to shoot him and as i shot him- he turned into you."

"Hey, its ok. It was just a nightmare. See, i'm here now. I'm ok."

"B-but... he said ge hurt Lani and Teagan."

"It was all a nightmare, everything is fine."

"I need to call Lani." He said quickly.

He opened his phone and started pulling up her contact.

"Tubbs, it's late. Leave it till tommorow, i'm sure she's asleep."

"I need to check on them."

The phone began to ring and tubbo became more distressed as time after time it went to voicemail.

"Tubbs lets just leave it. I'm sure-" Ranboo was cut off as the call connected.

"Lani!"

"Why are you calling me at 1am? You woke me up."

"Oh my god Lani, i'm so glad your ok."

"I'm fine. Well no, i'm sleepy and annoyed. Why are you calling me and who are you with? Who did i hear talking?"

"It's my friend from work."

"Ooh hi!"

"Hey." Ranboo replied tiredly.

"Anyway, why you calling me?"

"I had a nightmare and i needed to check you were ok cos of what happened. Is Teagan ok?"

"I dunno. I was asleep."

"Please can you go check on her?"

They heard shuffling and after a while Lani reported back.
