3rd pov

(Y/n) pants a bit as she was sprinting, she jumps quickly using her wings to help boost her up onto a branch and she began jumping branch to branch. (Y/n) was having a race with Greninja while everyone was waiting on the other side of the clearing, ever since that day in the village...(y/n) has felt so connected with Serena, sometimes it felt like she knew when she was there... Greninja has the same bond with his trainer ash, this was all so new to her, a little overwhelming as well but at least it gave her a little more of a sense of confidence in herself.

Suddenly (y/n) gasped as she felt a part of her wing get trapped a bit in-between two branches making her yelp as she fell off the tree, suddenly she was caught before she could fall. She opens her eyes to see Greninja caught her, "ninja?...(are you ok?...)" He asked, he's always had a serious tone of voice but also sounded caring as well, "c-cha... (I-im ok...)" She said softly as she was put down. Soon the two Pokemon get to the outside to the clearing, clemot smiles, "they're certainly doing well with this training!" He said, chespin claps his paws in agreement. Serena smiles and happily pats (y/n) which causes the fighting/flying pokemon to make a coo of satisfaction.

Serena's pov

I never would have thought I'd synchronize with my pokemon the way ash and his Greninja does. If anything I'd think it would maybe be braxien out of any of my dear pokemon. But never the less...I enjoy the bond I share with my Hawlucha, she's really gotten better at socializing and her performances in the showcases are amazing!...I'm so proud of her

3rd pov

Braixen smiles as she gently grabs (y/n)'s talons in her paws, "come! We can  spend some time together since we're not practicing right now!" She said eagerly, (y/n) perks up in suprise, "o-oh! Sure!" She said with a gentle smile. Lately she felt as if she hasn't been getting to spend much time with her... especially after that stupid dark/ice joined...I know I know they were close in the past I can't help but feel jealous! He basically knows her better than any of us here! I really want to spend more time with her...I like her so much..."hey!" Dusk huffs noticing braixen taking her away, "oh calm down, were just gonna hang out together, you don't mind that do you (y/n)?" Braixen asked (y/n) hoping she won't mind at all. (Y/n) softly smiled at dusk, "don't worry I'll be fine" she said, dusk merely sighs In response and the two pokemon walked away from the group, "so what are we doing?" (Y/n) asked not minding braixen holding haw talon as they were walking together through the peaceful forest. Braixen hummed as she was about to say something when suddenly they can see some pokemon in the forest all having fun dancing together, (y/n) perks up seeing this and gasped happily, that seems quite fun!! (Y/n) looks up at a braixen, "can we join them?" She asked, that sparkle in her eye...it's so cute...

Braixen pov

I felt a small lump in my throat as I felt my face heat up...how can I ever say no to that face?~ "of course we can! Come let's dance!" I replied to her and we with to the other pokemon to dance, everyone looked so happy, I'm glad I'm here with her...today is the day! I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna confess my love for (y/n)!!

I smile as I gently twirled (y/n) as we all danced, I can't help but feel as if my heart melts whenever she smiles! Oh how I love her so much..."

Meanwhile-

3rd pov

Greninja huffs as he was training against noivern. Talonflame hummed, "is it just me or does Greninja seem...off?" She asked courisly, Hawlucha hummed, "yes...I see what you mean, but knowing Greninja, he'll probably get over it" he replied.

Greninja pov

What is wrong with me...the more I trained with (y/n), the more I think about her. Ugh I have more important things to worry about rather than thinking about her! I need to train harder with ash so we can win this kalos league, it's what we've been training for this entire time we have been a team! But ever since she showed up it feels like so much as changed! Suddenly I was hit with tailwind when I wasn't expecting it making me fall back, I wince a little as I get up, ash stops the training and walks towards me. "Greninja...are you ok, do you need a break?..you seem off?" He asked, I only nod since he can only understand me when we synchronize. Maybe a break can do me some good to get myself together...

Meanwhile-

Braixen gently takes (y/n) talon, "how about we watch the sunset?.." she asked, (y/n) gasped happily, "sounds amazing!" She said and they leave the other pokemon, they managed to get through a nice opening where they can see the sunsetting, they sit down on the soft grass and admire the beauty infront of them. "Ok braixen...you can do this...just tell her how you feel!!" Braixen thought, she takes a deep breath and sighs, she turns her attention to the flying/fighting type a next to her..."hey (y/n)?...I have something to tell you..." She said. (Y/n) looks over at her... tilting her head a bit, "what is it?" She asked. "Well... um...I l-" before she can even get to finish, they hear rustling, they both quickly turn their attention to the sound, braixen gently pulling (y/n) close to her in protectiveness and growls in the direction of the sound, they could have sworn they saw someone, a woman with pale skin, red hair that looked like fire and red sunglasses...who was that?...

That woman huffs as she was talking to a watch around her wrist...this mission was extremely important, "by my calculations it might be closer than we think sir..." She said, a male voice replied, "good, see to it you find it..." He said and hangs up. She hummed as she fixed her glasses, "we will find you...zygard...."
