Kim's pov

My body was aching , was I dead? I slowly opened my eyes

I was laying on something soft , I looked down only to realise I was in a bed

The sheets were white while I looked around

The walls were green and white , i saw a window

I thought I was dead but I'm in a room , I walked to the door and it was locked

I was locked inside the room

I walked to the window and opened it

"Try killing yourself? You wouldn't survive if you jump out of the window"

I jumped when I heard his familiar voice , I didn't hear him walking in

His steps were so quiet

I glared at him , his smile

A creepy smile on his face , it's like he's a psychopath

I should've known better that it was him

"Say , do you always bring your victime here before killing them?"

"Supposedly I don't , I have never bring anyone here , it's only you who I brought"

What? Only me? What is that suppose to mean

"Why would you bring me here then?"

He was walking near me , I watched his steps clearly

"Well there's something off about you"

"What do you mean?"

"Your blood , it's not the same as the others , it's more sweeter , blood for a normal human isn't suppose to taste like that"

I furrowed my eyebrows as he stopped infront of me

"You mean I'm not human , how funny , if I wasn't human , I would have known about it"

He smirked looking me up and down , he tried to touch me but I pushed his hand away

"Why don't you kill me?"

"Would you want to be killed if your brother was here held captive?"

What!? Porchay!? They got him!?

"What!?"

Panic and fear in my eyes , he laughed maniacally

He's a psychopath

"Let my brother go!"

"How about a no?"

Shit , just then I saw the door open , there it reveal the boy from earlier , he's the one who went after Porchay

I gritted my teeth

"What the hell happened to you!?"

The guy's face was drenched with blood

"He got me these bruises , help me with it"

The guy stood there , a red and black aura came out of his hands , it went to the boy's face , the blood disappeared and his wound was slowly healing

Damn these vampires

I didn't know they had such powers , I know they have powers but not the healing one , I couldn't do anything

I could only sit down and watch him , the boy went out and it was him and me again , only us

"You're quite a brave one , knowing of what I am and not being scared of"

"I know about vampires , I just didn't expect to meet two of them here"

I look out of the window , it was night , I slept through the day

"I never thought vampires were the cause of war , the cause that made human and vampires attack each other but seeing you , I'm sure you weren't like this"

He narrowed his eyes as I starred at him

"Human was the cause of this , they fucking kill our kind , almost all of them , if we didn't rebel , they would've get all of us"

I know human were the cause of this , they lie , people lie

Lying about how vampire was the one who wanted to kill us

I look outside the window and feel the cold breeze hit my face

"Human are no different from us , we never intended to kill them , our leader wanted peace , he never wanted war"

I stared at him , his eyes , what were he hiding?

"500 years ago , human and vampires lived in peace , they weren't afraid of us nor were we , until human caused a disaster by killing some of our species , on the day of the full moon , we gave our leader some of our blood , because human wanted to kill us , we tried to protect him because the power that we gave him can revive some of our kinds , some of us , the blood that he had was our power , he put it in a bottle , hidden it somewhere , somewhere safe where I can't even find it"

The anger in his voice , it's not really what was written in the book that I've read , in the book they said it was the vampires fault but I never believed it , human are way too cruel to believe that they had nothing to do with this

"When the full moon shown , human and vampires broke into fight , I lose my parents , my family except only Macau survived , I lost my people , my father was once the leader of our kingdom , I once was a prince , I was happy , happy and carefree with my people only for them to kill us , to kill my people , I couldn't do anything! I was too weak , too weak to fight them! Because I trusted them , you people had lost our trust , human are the real monsters!"

I could sense the sadness in his tone , the way he talk shows pain and sadness , it's true human are cruel , I remember my father disappeared when a full moon was shown

How strange..

My father disappeared on the day of the full moon

He didn't talk but I could feel him staring

"Not all human are bad"

"They are! For fuck sake , they killed almost all my people , I will never believe that a human would be so kind to not kill us"

I stayed silent , his voice made me scared as I shivered , I saw him going out of the room

"Wait"

I called , he turned to look at me , I could only see the coldness in his eyes

"Please don't hurt my brother"

"I'm not in charge of your brother , Macau is since he capture him , you will need to talk to him about that if you want"

He said as he closed the door , he locked it , fuck i was stuck

Why am I so unlucky?
