III- What they call the truth

A silent walk. I think that's the only words that could describe what happened next. Despite the fear, anger and anxiety that I can feel rising within me, my guide just keeps on walking, barely making a noise. It's like he's floating around in the place that haunted my nightmares for so long, his blond hair reflecting the moonlight that comes trough the windows.
Were are the people ? Most of them are sleeping, but i know for sure that this place was never this silent. It feels unreal.

Then finally, we arrive to a tiny tower with a staircase that goes right to the top. It's like it's hidden in a corner of the castle, and even if it seems crazy I don't remember it ever being here. Scratched on the dirty stones, a strange message has been carved in the wall.

What they call the truth is a collection of convincing lies.

I pass my hand on the letters, wondering who wrote this and what it means to them. Then I turn around.

And I wake up, in a bed, in my bedroom. Birds are singing and cars are passing on the road by my window. My posters of Blackpink are still on my wall. There's nothing that could remind me of that fantasy world that I just dreamed of but...
