Deciding that I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep I pulled out my phone from my pocked and opted to scrolling through social media until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.

I woke up a couple of hours later. Having the wipe the drool off my phone since I feel asleep right on-top of it. The room was a bit chilly, just how I liked it, and my throat was feeling parched. I slowly sat up and stretched in place, then preceding to plug in my phone since it died when I left it on whilst sleeping. Although the air was chilly I decided to take off my jacket, the slight audible hum of the air conditioning soothing as I walked across my room. I'll have to ask Johnny if I can have a R.O.R hoodie or sweater, I'd like to have more variety than just a letterman jacket.

The dark eerie halls were quiet except for the slight creek of my door and my soft padded footsteps. The moon was high in the sky, illuminating the sitting area through the tall glass windows that peered into the outside as moonlight beams scattered throughout the walls and reflected off an old sturdy looking rustic chandelier hanging from the high ceiling.  If it not for the slight hum of the a/c, you could hear a pin drop. Not even the snores of my sleeping fraternity brothers could be heard as I sneaked by their doors. Years of scaring training and stealth came in handy as I made sure my large frame couldn't be heard walking down the hall.

I wasn't sure what time it was, just that my throat was really dry. Whether I was craving water or a glass of milk didn't matter, I was gonna get to that kitchen and no one was going to stop me.
Reaching the long carpeted stair way I started my decent onto the first floor, step by step. The stairs, were not as quiet as the normal floors were. I didn't want to make more noise despite already being halfway down the stairs and I opted for leaping over the railing, my wings acting as a parachute to soften my landing and ensuring minimal noise.

I smirked pridefully after I pulled off my little stunt and smugly made my way into the kitchen. Being on the first floor meant I could safely turn on the lights without disturbing anyone, but I only used the lights over the kitchen island just to be safe. About two slices of my cake remained in its plastic container sitting on the counter, and I chuckled at the thought of Johnny having to argue with the guys to get them to spare them.
I looked around all the cabinets for a glass cup deciding that I was going to pour myself a nice cold glass of milk. After finding the cups in the cabinet to the left of the fridge I as quietly as possible opened up the fridge to grab a carton of milk. I pored myself a cup and quickly sealed the container putting it back into the fridge. I decided to just finish my cup down here in the kitchen not wanting to later have to bring it down from my room. I made myself comfortable on the counter with only my own thoughts to keep me company.

As I let the eerie quietness of the kitchen settle in I couldn't help but let my thoughts drift back to the moment I had with Johnny earlier. A blush crawled up my face as I remembered the feel of his lips on mine, and how gently he caressed my fur. I've never had an encounter like that before much less been interested in anyone romantically. I knew that obviously I held some sort of attraction towards him as he was on my mind almost 24/7 after meeting him. I was just surprised that he seems to return those feelings as well. Does that make me gay? I've never been interested in anyone but Johnny's the only person whose ever really caught my attention. Maybe it's to early to tell.

I sighed as I stared down to my almost empty cup of milk. Does Johnny really like me? I mean, I was raised to not take anyones bullshit so the second someone tries me I'll drop them like they're on fire. But Johnny.... maybe it's to early to tell. The only thing I know is that I'm taking a risk being this vulnerable. But so is he... "Are you ok?" Come a voice from behind me, startling me out of my trance.
I turned my head towards the entrance of the kitchen as saw Javier standing there, rubbing his face and staring at me questioningly.
"Yeah I'm fine... just thirsty," I hopped down from the counter and chugged the rest of my glass down my throat.
"Just checking," Javier mumbled as he walked over the fridge, searching for something to snack on.
"Do you guys have hoodies?" I asked.
"Huh?" Javier looked confused.
"Like other R.O.R hoodies and jackets, I think I've seen you guys in them, and I kind of don't want to be wearing a letterman 24/7," I scratched under my chin.
