9. The Healing

Jungkookaaa.....

The name almost came out like a whisper. His eyes were glowing red.

This didn't terrify Ha-eun. She was too shocked to see him.

She cupped jungkook's face and creased it. She still didn't believe it.

Jungkook's eyes were sparkling with tears looking at his angel eyed wife.

She just stared at jungkook........didn't want to believe it.

It felt like a dream.....and a dream from which she never wanted to wake up.

She sat down on the floor....and so did jungkook.

Without wasting a second, she hugged jungkook tight, crying in his embrace.

Jungkook couldn't hold his tears either and let them flow.

"W-why j-jungkookaa ? W-why d-did you l-leave me huh ? Why d-did y-you leave m-me ?" She cried.

"I a-am sorry love. I am s-so s-sorry.....forgive m-me." He creased her back.

And just like that in the position, only jungkook lifted her up and took her to a room, which was a 5 minute away.

He laid her down on the bed and kissed her forehead.

"Jung-eun is sleeping." He said.

She turned her head to her left to see jung-eun hugging a pillow and sleeping with a pout.

Jungkook pecked her neck and laid beside her, pulling her closer in him embrace.

She felt something cover her up.

It was jungkook's wing. She touched it. It was soft and beautiful.

"Wings," she said.

"Even Jung-eun has them." She said again.

"Hehe, yeah, after all, he is the son of vampire king." He said with proudness.

She got up and looked at him with wide eyes.

"Vampire ?"

"Yes....a vampire."

"I am a vampire....Ha-eunaaa." Jungkook said, getting up.

"I am sorry I had to hide this from you...I thought if you found out about this, you would leave me."

He held her hands.

"I will tell you everything."

Being the only son of the Vampire King was taught to be perfect in all the way possible for the position of King and my survival.
I was sent to the human world to learn more, but I met you and got lost in you.
Even though my heart stopped beating years ago in a fight still.....my chest felt like something was hitting it whenever I was near you.
My mission was to learn more about humans, but I learned love and care from you.
I had to hide my identity from you.
Then a time came I had to leave you.
I didn't want to leave you, but I was forced because my kingdom was going in a war....a war which can even last for 100 years, and humans rarely survive till there.
I just needed a reason to die from your life, and then Jason did that work for me.
Jimin, who is my right-hand adviser, and he is like a brother to me.
He took me away from there.
The war happened and ended last year.
The people were weak, so it was easy.
I was crowned as the King of Vanara kingdom.
My plan was that if I become the king, then I would come to you and surprise you and take you with me, but I got busy with the royal duties, so I had to delay more.
The day before yesterday I came to our house but you weren't there. After that day I came again but you weren't there again.
I looked for every possible place you could be, but I couldn't find you.
I was devastated. I thought I had lost you, and it was raining heavily.
I was in the park, the same place we both confessed to each other.
I was lost in my thoughts, but then I sensed something coming closer to me.
I looked in that direction just to see you running, holding a small figure in your hand.
You were crying. You sat down on the ground, still crying hard.
I just looked at you and slowly approached you, but you didn't look at me.
Then I sat at your level and opened my wings and covered you and jung-eun up.
You rested your head on my chest.
You were in a miserable state, and it was hurting me seeing you like that.
You were crying and taking my name.
Then later, you fainted, and I picked you up and took you with me to my kingdom.

Ha-eun was shocked after hearing this...

She was in love with a vampire...

And a vampire was in love with her...

She had no words.

"I am sorry I had to leave you like this." He said while breaking down in tears.

She hugged him tight, not knowing what to say.

Then, later, jungkook said.

"I knew that humans can't carry a vampire, but I know you. I knew you would be able to carry our baby, so I gave you jung-eun as a gift from me. Usually, humans would die because the baby inside will suck all the blood, but look at you.......you made it Ha-eunaa."

He hugged her tight.

Now everything made sense.....

Then jungkook asked her.

"Why are you and jung-eun wounded ? Who hurt you both ?"

Ha-eun told him everything...

From marriage to struggle to her getting raped and then getting sexually abused, then she gets threatened to her loneliness to everything.

Jungkook looked at her all jungshook.
He had no idea she had to go through all this.

She burst out crying, remembering all this.

These 7 years, she survived all this because of one reason.

Jungkook hugged her tight and apologised to her multiple times for leaving her in such a hell hole.

They both cried in each other's embrace.

The struggle both of them went through

Had only one reason

Later, Ha-eun fell asleep in his arms.

Jungkook laid her down on the bed and covered her well with a duvet.

He wiped her dried tears and kissed her bandaged neck.

"I will kill that bastard." Jungkook got furious, and his eyes started to glow dark red.

He went to the human place to the house where Jason lived.

Jason was all drunk, and the whole house was a big mess.

"Jungkook !" Jason cried.

"Where is Ha-eun ? Get her to me."

"The bitch deserves to suffer."

Jungkook got angry and landed a punch on him.

Jason fought back, but jungkook was stronger this time.

They fought for a while, then jungkook threw Jason on the floor.

He ripped his throat with his sharp teeth.

He spat his blood away.

"Your blood is as disgusting as your deeds." Jungkook said that to Jason's dead bloody body.

Jungkook cleaned himself and went back to his family.

To his angel eyed wifey and his baby bunny....
