His Angel

5. Good morning

It was now the morning, everybody was up and about, doing various different tasks that they had to do. Including Lan Xichen, who had just gotten out of his office and had noticed that he still hadn't seen Lan Even thou it was already quite late into the morning and came to the conclusion that he had either gone out already to do something or he was still in his room, Wich was highly unlikely as his brother had never stayed in so late in his room. He decided to go and check just in case he was in his room, so he made his way to the room and knocked.

Surprisingly his brother opened the door, seemingly a little sleepy. Looking as if he had just woken up." Good morning Wangji, how come you just woke up?". He asked, giving his brother a small smile." Don't want to wake Wei Ying up". He answered quietly, making sure he was quiet enough to not wake up the other in the room." Well he won't wake up if you leave quietly, or is there something else?". He asked in a slightly playfully voice, teasing his brother while wiggling his eyebrows.
Lan Zhan, although remaining the same cold and expressionless face, ever so quietly scoffed playfully at his brother." Don't want him to wake up alone and worry". He said in a slightly shy tone.

His older brother slightly amused by his brother's shyness, decided to leave his brother be and said his goodbye's, leaving the two and going back to his office to continue his work. Lan Zhan closed his door after saying his farewell, closed the door and went back to Wei Ying, having the ever so slightest smile on his face. The older had been reading one of the many books that he had when he noticed that Wei Ying had woken up, sitting up in the bed while rubbing his eyes to get rid of the tiredness.

Seing that Lan Zhan was looking at him, he smiled at the older." Good morning Lan Zhan". He said cheerfully, making the mentioned man send him a small smile, getting up from his seat and walking towards the younger." Good morning, did Wei Ying sleep good?". He asked, wanting to make sure that Wei Ying was feeling good." Yes i slept good and you, i didn't move to much did i, i tend to do so when i sleep comfortably". He said, a little worried that he may have disturbed the older's sleep. The latter shook his head no, reassuring the youth that he had infact sleept good as well. Just then, they heard a knock on the door.

Lan Zhan got up to open the door and saw his brother once again." Hello xiongzhang". He greeted, Wei Ying getting up from the bed, standing next to Lan Zhan." Hello Zewu-Jun". He bowed politely." Hello childe Wei". He responded with a slight head bow." What is the matter xiongzhang?". Asked Lan Zhan." I was actually wishing to speak to you childe Wei". Answered Xichen, who now looked over at Wei Ying, who was looking slightly confused." Why do you want to speak with me Zewu-Jun?". Asked Wei Ying." Well, uncle wants to speak with you". He said as he looked at Wei Ying, ooking at Lan Zhan." Why does Master Lan want to speak with me?". He asked, leaning on the door frame." He said that he would like to talk about some arrangements or something of the sort". Answered the oldest of the three." Ok, when does Master Lan wish to speak?". He asked." Well, uncle is sort of waiting for you now". He answered looking a little embarrassed at how last minute his uncle was being, and for disturbing the two's morning." Oh my, then i shall get ready now, i don't want to make Master Lan wait to long". Said Wei Ying as he went back inside to dress in a more formal attire,.as he was still wearing his sleeping attire.

Lan Xichen was about to leave when he turned back and walked up to his little brother." And don't worry Wangji, you can go with him". He said in a teasing voice, slightly laughing at Lan Zhan, who was now blushing, although it was barely visible." Well i'm off now, if you need me i will be in my office". He said as he waved at his brother and turned to walk back to his office." Goodbye xiongzhang". Answered Lan Zhan, who was still slightly blushing because of his brothers words. Suddenly, Wei Ying appears right infront of Lan Zhan, scarring him a little, making Wei Ying chuckle at the other's reaction that other's would have most likely missed." No need to be scared Lan Zhan, and by the way i'm ready so i will go talk to your uncle". He said, still smiling at the fact that he managed to scare the Hanguang Jun." Lan Zhan is coming with Wei Ying". He said to Wei Ying, making his way to the door as well." Ok, let's go then".
He said, stepping outside and skipping happily,
Lan Zhan walking behind him, with a slight smile on his face, looking at Wei Ying with the fondest look in his eyes.
