This is my recipe for the monster book of monster from the H͛a͛r͛r͛y͛ P͛o͛t͛t͛e͛r͛ series, by Jk. Rowling. The picture above isn't the actual sandwich, it is just a picture of how the actual book
l👀ks like. However, when you make this sandwich, it will l👀k like the picture above.
INGREDIENTS:
-one rectangular whole wheat piece of bread (the wheatier the better; and I know that's not a word; or just use pumpernickel bread instead, hey! That rhymes!)
-a few slices of turkey the cold cut kind (just needs to be more than one and could be ham instead of turkey)
- two thin slices of cucumber
-piece of salami
-cheese, lettuce, or whatever you like to have in your sandwich
-three half slices of baby tomatoes
DIRECTIONS:
1] Place your sliced turkey on the slice of bread, and try not to make it stick out of the sides of the bread. The bread acts as the monster fur and the turkey slices are the pages of the book.
2] If you wanted to put on the lettuce etc, put it on the turkey, but make sure it's not visible, so keep it inside the perimeter of the turkey slices
3] Fold your slice of salami into a thin rectangle. Don't make it too thick. You'll need to put it sticking out of once of the two shorter sides of the bread and don't put it in the middle.
This will be the tongue.
4] Cut your cucumber slices in threes so they l👀k like rectangles. Put them on on a short side of the bread in the direct middle. Since there are two slices, put the rectangles of each cucumber on each shirt side of the bread; these will be the teeth.
5] Fold the bread slice in half from the shorter side to the other, not from the longer side to the other longer side
6] Take your sliced tomatoes and put them on the middle of the top part of the folded bread slice in a line from side to side. Don't put it on the sides/edges, put it on the "cover" of the book; these will be the monster's eyes.
7] Stick tooth picks into the eyes through the book, holding everything together. Try not to have the tooth pick visible, so just sick it in far enough, but still have it in the eyes.
8] Don't cut off the crust because it will be used as the spikes/claws coming out of the sides. Peel different parts so it will be sticking out of the sides. Just try not to rip it off.
