28 - Will You Accept?

After some weeks passed, you were looking in your closet for a summer dress. The reason was easy.

Satoru planned a date for you two in Okinawa, more precisely at the beach where you went with Riko years ago.

And since it was summer you thought of getting a summer dress, you had the perfect one, it was white with red roses all across it. As you quickly took it, you curled your hair and decided to leave. Satoru was already waiting for you with his car in front of your apartment.

"Oh? How did the famous Gojo Satoru get on time finally hm?" you asked with a smirk and he just rolled his eyes at your sarcasm.

"For your information sweetie, I can be on time too if I want too, I just have my priorities set most of the time." he said and you laughed. He was always late at the meetings with the elders.

"Alright alright, fair enough." you said and he winked at you. You took a seat next to him in the car as he started driving.

"The way there will take a while so you can rest in the meantime." he told you as he placed one of his hands on your thigh. You smiled and nodded.

After some hours of driving you finally arrived in Okinawa.

As you and Gojo exited the car he took your hand and you started going to the restaurant where you would have your dinner.

"Wait, isn't this the same one as the one where we went with Riko?" you asked and he chuckled.

"It is, glad that you have a sharp memory." he said as you both sat down at a table.

"How could I forget, that was the best day that I ever had." you said and he smirked.

"Oh? So my amazing company was that great? I'm flattered." he said and you just rolled your eyes at him.

"No but seriously, I appreciate what you did back then, we were able to show Riko a lot of beautiful things and that was the first time when I realized that there's so much more to life than clan affairs and etiquette." you said and he nodded.

"Well yeah, the elders always prioritize manners and traditions forgetting about one's youth, that was the time when I changed my opinion about you as well." he said and you looked surprised.

"Really?"

"Yeah, before that I thought that you were a very shy and weak person that's too fragile to be in the world of jujutsu, I was so shocked to find out that you were a special grade sorcerer like me and Suguru, but that mission made me change my mind. I realized that your shy only till you open up to someone and you were anything but weak. "he said and you smiled.

" Well I'm glad that you changed your mind, honestly I found you very intimidating at the beginning, that's why I got closer to Suguru first, he seemed way more 'nice and less rude' compared to how you mocked everyone. "you said and he made a hurt sign.

" You deeply wounded me with that y/n, I thought that you were head over heels for me since the first time that we met. "he said and you just chuckled.

" Yeah sure Satoru, it's just that, I've been hurt in the past by people who acted similarly, so I was just a little aware of the risks. "you said and he looked surprised.

" Oh? You mean the time when we had to go to middle schools or? "

" Yeah, I went to a normal school fullof non-sorcerers, and my hair used to light up around curses. Of course, everyone freaked out when they saw my hair change from blonde to a really light blonde, but there was a guy that was annoying in particularly, he used to bring me flowers, write me letters, confess his feelings and even sing me songs, but seeing that I ignored him made him become even more fixated. In the end I had to snap at him and the whole thing was quite hard, I used to cry a lot back then, I felt so diffrent and unapproachable, but then I joined jujutsu high and everything changed. "you said and he nodded.

" Well that guy definitely didn't know how to take no as an answer. "Gojo said scoffing and you chuckled.

" As if you know how too. "you said and he gave you a hurt look.

" Y/n-Chan! I'm here defending you and you throw mud at me. "he said and you placed your hand on his smiling.

" Sorry toru."you said and he just smirked.

After eating you thought that Gojo would bring you home but that was not quite the plan.

" So you also want to go on the beach? But isn't it kinda late? "you asked and he just smiled.

" Don't worry, I'm the strongest am I not? "he said and you just smiled at him.

" What do you think that am I then? A damsel in distress? "you asked and he just laughed.

" Well as long as your my damsel then yes. "he said and you just shook your head while laughing.

As you both started walking on the beach you looked at the moon.

" It feels as if yesterday we were on the same exact beach enjoying our time. "you said and he nodded.

" A lot of things changed since then. "he added and you nodded.

" Indeed, ah well what matters is that were still together right? Things could have ended even worse than this. "you said and he nodded.

" I'm glad that they didn't, I couldn't have thought of losing you as well. "he said and you looked at him surprised. Usually he wasnt that direct with his words.

" Look over there y/n. "he said pointing to the sky. You could see some blue lines that flew across the sky. They looked like butterflies that had a shiny blue string after them.

" What are those...? I never saw such creatures, do you perhaps know toru? "you said not looking away. When you didn't receive an answer you looked at your back confused.

" Toru-... "you said as you saw him knelt in front of you. You out your hand to your mouth and looked in his blue eyes. He was holding a beautiful ring with a diamond on it.

" I know that we already had plans about this but I wanted to get it done the right way. You probably changed my life the most, I used to be an idiot and an arrogant kid back in our jujutsu high days and your the one who made me be the way I am today, I wish that our past wouldn't be full of suffering and that you wouldn't have went trough all that, but everything made you even stronger and I'm just... So happy to be able to call you my girlfriend, so my dear y/n, will you make me the happiest man in this world? "he said and for the first time Gojo Satoru was nervous, you never though that you will see him like this, but this was your Satoru. He didn't have to be the strongest, the honored one or Gojo, with you he could be Satoru, the real one that only you, Suguru and Shoko had the pleasure to know.

As you looked at him with tears in your eyes he tilted his head.

"You know... Usually at proposals the whole point is to make the woman happy, how can I call this a proposal if I made you tear up with crocodile tears?" he said and you just laughed.

"Yes of course, a 10.000 times yes, no matter what happens my answer will always be yes Satoru." you said and he put the ring on your finger. When he got up he wrapped his arms around your waist and spinned you in the air.

After he stopped spinning he looked at you still holding you up.

" I love you so much! "he said as he brought your face closer and he snuggled his nose on your cheek. You laughed and put your arms around his neck.

" I love you as well Satoru, more than anything. "you said and he kissed you.

As you both shared the happy moment a man watched from afar.

" So you finally did it, heh, it was time to honestly, you already wasted too much time because of your ego... Satoru. "the man said and he turned to leave but before doing so he looked once again at the couple and smiled.

" May you both have a happy life, as for me, I'll try to protect you and the future sorcerers in my own way. "he said and he left.
