When I got back to my apartment, I prepared my dinner thinking about what happened earlier.
I was now sitting on my couch with a glass of wine watching Scandal when I heard a woman screaming and crying hysterically. I lowered the volume on the TV to hear.
"FUCK YOU!!" the woman yelled.
"I told you I didn't do anything , why you trippin' ??"
"IM NOT DUMB SHAWN!!! I know you did"
"Lower your voice damn. You ain't the only one in this apartment."
"Ain't that the truth ..." I thought to myself.
That was all I heard so I waited about ten minutes before I decided to check on my neighbors.
I made my way towards their door and knocked hard but quietly.
Shawn answered the door with a furious look on his face
"Are you OK?....I was eating dinner when I heard all this yelling outside."
"Yeah..my girlfriend broke up with me." He said short and to the point.
"Oh....I'm sorry to hear that..just wondering if everything was OK ....bye" I said walking off.
"Wait" he called after me.
"Yeah?"
"Thank you."
"No problem you would have don't that for me."
"If only you knew the reason why I would have.... " Shawn thought to himself.
She walked away heading back to her room so I just went back inside.
The next morning I saw Isa in the Café sipping on coffee and on her phone.
I ordered a coffee and sat next to her.
"Hey"
"Wassup, every time I'm here u here.." I said feeling a little awkward.
"I know right...weird."
I just laughed.
"Are you stalking me??" I joked and he just laughed.
"Of course." He joked.
"So what are you doing later??" He asked.
"Nothing really?...why?"
"I have an extra ticket to go to the Carnaval and since last night took place ....I have no one else to go with." He spoke patiently waiting on an answer.
"Hanging out with my neighbor.....this should be interesting." I said grabbing the ticket out his hand.

I know I haven't been updating and I apologize, I've been caught up with school and working on another book called Girl from Oakland which y'all should go read. But I'm back now so I'll be updating more often...✌
