It took a few days to adjust myself into my new role. Jayden's girlfriend. When we're hiding away in our homes, it's easy to be in a relationship.  When we're at school or out with friends, I have to remind myself that I'm not a prepubescent, lovestriken loser. I can openly show Jayden how much I love him.

We've all been getting back to our usual routines. Jayden and Seth have been slowly getting back to work at the coffee house. Seth still avoids the Double Trouble Twins like they have a disease, but he's terrified to speak to them together.

I've been standing in the corner, cleaning mugs for the last hours. I've been working at the coffee house for months now, and I swear, I'm still abysmal at making coffee. I leave the cute designs to Jayden and Seth.

Plus, I can watch Jayden work without it being creepy.

As I'm continuously wiping the mugs, Jayden looked over at me and smiled. It's still a reflex to look away when he catches me staring at him.

Jayden invaded my personal space, creeping his hands up the sides of my waist. I squirmed in his hold, trying to put the mug and rag on the counter.

"What? No kisses?" Jayden asked, placing a hand on the small of my back.

Innocently, I pretended to think about his question. Obviously, I wanted him to kiss me. I smiled and Jayden didn't bother waiting for an answer.

He dipped his head forward, until his lips met mine.

I don't think I'll ever stop feeling the fireworks or butterflies in my stomach. Each and every time he kisses me, I'm transported to heaven.

"That was very impatient of you," I teased between kisses.

His eyes glistened with pure happiness.

I enjoyed seeing Jayden happy. He's been seeing me miserable for months, so it's nice to see him happy.

"I've been very patient, but you're right. Now, I've become impatient," he whispered.

"That's very macho of you," I chuckled, wrapping an arm around his waist. "I didn't think you'd be the caveman type of boyfriend."

"Is a caveman your type?"

A loud slamming interrupted Jayden and I.

I didn't get the opportunity to say "yes." I think a caveman is most definitely my type.

We looked over and saw Seth banging a coffee grinder on the counter. "I love you both, but you're starting to bug me."

"Why?" Jayden asked.

"I'm the only one working! The mean girls have been over there flirting for the last ten minutes. So, if you two are done gazing into each other's eyes ... I'd appreciate a little help."
