late night talks

After a long days of work lavelle finally came back from work.
Jenna ran to the door with loads of excitement and opened up the door "Finally you're here.. I was waiting so long." She sighs as lavelle laughs at her.
"I've got a present for you" lavelle says as Jenna clings onto her arm. "Really?!" Jenna jumps with excitement as lavelle pulls out a bouquet of white tulips and a box of her favourite chocolates. Jennas face lights up as she kisses lavelle on the cheek.
"Wait wait wait" lavelle says.
Jenna seems confused, "what is it?"
"Turn around and close your eyes" lavelle says as she pulls something out of her pocket.
Jenna feels her hair getting pushed to the side and a smile creeps up on her face as she already knows what this surprise is.
"I hope you like it" lavelle smiles at Jenna as she sees that she's in awe.
"I love it thank you so much!! Love, go get changed I'll put on a movie and make us some popcorn"

~15 minutes later~

Lavelle walks into the living room as she sees Jenna sitting on their couch with a massive bowl of sweet and salty popcorn on her lap. Lavelle sneaks up behind her and scares Jenna making her throw the bowl of popcorn across the room.
"Lavelle!! This is all your fault~ I hate you." She laughs.
"I guess we'll have to make something else instead." Lavelle shrugs .
"Muffins!" Jenna shouts as she hops from the sofa.
"Okay whatever you want cutie,"

Jenna and lavelle are now found in the kitchen making an absolute mess while trying to make blueberry muffins. Flour everywhere. Egg shells all over the floor and milk drowning the marble counter.
"Lavelleee can you put them in the oven please?" Jenna says as she starts washing up the dirty bowls.
Her partner then takes the tray and puts it in the oven for them to flourish.

~25 mins later~

The oven tings as Jenna excitedly runs towards the kitchen. Steam fills up the room as the door to the oven opens and the aroma of the muffins fill the atmosphere. Jenna places them carefully on a plate and goes to sit next to her boyfriend on the sofa to continue watching scream.
"These taste so good." Lavelle says as Jenna feeds it to her.
They end up falling asleep in each others arms.
