Layla's POV (when the black smoke magically appeared out of her hands)
I looked around through through the black smoke and coughed, how the hell was I able to do this?
I pulled myself off the ground and saw that Todoroki was no where to be seen, I mean this smoke was pretty thick and I couldn't even see through it. Even though it was my quirk!
I think.
I walked around for a little and coughed a couple of times, but that was when I saw a small light ahead of me through the midst of the smoke.
I walked closer to it, thinking that it was a way out of the smoke.
But when I reached the light, I saw that it actually wasn't a way out, but it was infact Violet.
I forgot that she had white hair for a second, so I went to knock her out, but then she turned around and I had to put my arm down.
"Layla! Thank god I found you!" She spoke with worry and wrapped her arms around me in a hug.
I returned the hug but couldn't help but feel confused, "Wait a minute, how and why are you down here?" I asked her.
Violet awkwardly explained how she wanted to help get my quirk under control, "And now I'm here."
I felt a tickle in my throat and quickly turned away and coughed heavily into my elbow.
I really didn't want to give anyone a disease that I didn't have but didn't want to spread.I looked down to where I coughed, and saw a few drops of blood on my sleeve.
My stomach dropped, there was no way I had anything that made me cough up blood. It couldn't have been from inhaling the smoke, no way that smoke can do that to someone.
"LAYLA!" I looked away from my arm to see Violet gripping onto my shoulders infront of me.
"You need to figure out how to get rid of this smoke, I can hel-" she started, but I assume they had gotten a pro to use their quirk because the smoke around us started to slowly disappear.
"I need to go, love you bye!" And Violet bolted the way she came.
I chuckled at her actions but felt another itch in my throat.I couldn't help but start coughing profusely. The more I coughed, the more and more I felt myself getting light headed.
I caught a final glimpse at Todoroki and saw that his face was as still as stone and his body wasn't moving at all, before the light headedness finally turned into the world spinning around me.
I closed my eyes and let my body fall to the ground.
Someone was bound to come to me, whether I wanted them to or not.
~Goofy little timeskip for y'all~
"What do you mean? I want to know if she's alright, not if she's responding to people or not!"
Violet? I think it was her, it definitely sounded like her.
She seemed to be yelling at someone? And it sounded like she was also crying.I tried to open my eyes, only to shut them due to the bright ass lights above my head.
"Fucking hell-" was as far as I got before I felt something fall on top of me.
I couldn't even respond until Violet started balling her eyes out.I squinted my eyes to look at her and saw that she was crying into my shoulder, I chuckled and she looked up at me with tear streaked cheeks.
