Hyunjin's pov
"Daddy!" Hope shouted when she saws at the front door of Chan's parents house. I decided to pick up Hope alone because Chan had to go work sadly
I picked her up and she hugged me
"Missed you daddy" she smiled
"Missed you too, princess" I smiled and I saw Chan's mother standing at the doorframe
"How was your weekend?" I asked her
"It was much fun" she giggled and Chan's mother smiled. She gave me her bag and we said goodbye and we went to my car
I opened the passenger door and sat her down on the seat
"Oh did you get a new plushie?" I asked her as I saw a new plushie in her hands
"Mhm Lucas gave it to me when we were at the theme park" she smiled
I smiled and I put the seat belt on and I closed the door and I walked to the driver's sit
When I got in the car, I started the engine and drove away
After few minutes
"Daddy?" Hope asked me as I was focusing on the road
"Can we get ice cream?" She asked me and I smiled
"Ofcourse, Honey but we are going to pick up Hera first okay," I said and she nodded
After a while
After we picked up Hera we went to the park because I know there was an ice cream truck and when we arrived at the ice cream we said what kind of flavour we wanted
We are currently sitting on a bench eating our strawberry ice cream
"Playground!" Hope said happily after she eat her last piece of the ice cream, she ran to the playground and I smiled
I got up and walked with Hera to the playground where Hope was playing, she was playing on a pirate ship
"Look Daddy there is a monster!" She said and imagined that there was a big sea monster
"Oh no!" I played with her and I quickly climb up the ship
"Don't worry, I will save you I'm captain Hope" She said and she ran to the canons
I laughed, what fantasy has she but suddenly my eyes caught something
I saw from afar someone looking at me and when the person walked closer to me I immediately recognised the person, oh no
"H-Hope, we have to go home" I said and I looked at her
"Why Daddy?" She asked
"Because daddy says it" I said and I picked her up and we got the pirate ship
"Come Hera," I said and Hera ran to me and I clipped the leash on her collar
"Well well look we got here, if isn't the biggest camwhore of the city" I heard him saying and I turned around, it was really him
Jason, my old boss
"W-what are you doing here?" I asked him and hold Hope's hand in tight grip
"I came here for some fresh air and then I saw you," He said with a dirty grin on his face
"Leave me alone" I said and Hope looked at me and she hide behind my legs and Hera stood in front of her
"You could be so much better if you stayed with me but you chose that other man, Bang Chan was his name right? your his new boy toy" He said
How does he know that I'm with Chan?
"D-Daddy" I heard Hope quietly saying
"Oh you became a father?" He asked and he looked down at Hope and Hera quietly growled
"J-Just go away" I whispered
"I feel pity for daughter, what if she is getting to know what kind of job her father did," He said with a grin
Then he leaned to me and Hera growled louder
Jason whispered something in my ear and I quietly gasped and tears started to build up in the corner of my eyes. He smirked and he walked away and I saw him fading away
"Daddy?" I heard Hope saying and I looked down
I crouched down and I put my hands on her arms
"You okay daddy?" She asked and I smiled
"Y-yes let's go home," I said and she nodded
