chapter 1

Ah, a new week and the first thing I do is be late to school, swinging thru buildings while my schoolbag hangs onto its dear life isn't really an ideal way to start the morning. I arrive a minute before the bell rings and I sigh out of relief rushing to class. First class I had was English, im fine with the subject itself but my god the teacher sucked, lost in thought I heard my best friend since kindergarten ask ''dude are you okay? You look veryyy tired'' I give him a small smile and tell him im okay, I cant just be like oh im tired because im spiderman and I was fighting villains all night that's why I look like I got no sleep and I look like I got ran over by a bus. Mike wheeler or as others call him Mj my best friend for years now, we met when we were 5 and been close since, I cant bring myself to tell him about my secret and ah how I wish I could, its so hard to hide anything from Mike. An hour passed and the bell finally rang, I finished getting ready for my next class which was science, too bad for me because mike had history, how was I gonna survive in class without him. We said our goodbyes and mike walked off, I walk into the class to see troy sitting right next to my seat, and you might be asking who the hell is troy, well hes my biggest bully since like 6th grade, hes absolutely the worst, the homophobic jokes just never die when youre around him I take my seat getting ready for the worst class in the whole schedule,and *snap* with that science ended I had math after and after math we have a lunch break which I always spend with my group, lucas,mike,dustin and max. my sister el used to go here too but my mum realized it was too early for real school and she was too unstable, sometimes I feel so bad for her, her life was a living hell, so my mum kept el home to homeschool her. Mike and el used to date but broke up because el just wasn't ready for a relationship and wanted to find herself and figure out who she was and mike was totally fine with that, theyre still friends after the breakup and im so glad because it would've been so awkward to hang out with the whole group while mike and el were on bad terms or something. Suddenly the silence was broken by mike.

''so guys you wont believe what happened'' - mike

''what happened, you finally got a girlfriend?'' - max says mockingly

''very funny Mayfield, no but I got spiderman to agree on an interview! Today.'' - mike

''what dude that's crazy?!'' - lucas

''make sure to take a lot of pictures, heard he likes to have his photos taken'' - dustin giggles

''quite cocky if you ask me'' - will

'' not a fan of spidey?'' - asks dustin

''iron man is better'' - will

''the nerve to even say that, iron man didn't stop a moving train now did he?'' - mike rolls his eyes

''iron man has done better things'' - will

''I wont even justify your hate speech with a response'' - mike smirks

''so defensiveee mike, got a crush on our friendly neighborhood spiderman or something?'' - says max jokingly

Mike gets nervous slurring his words trying to defend himself against what max said, I stare at them arguing while im giggling like crazy. Right mike wheeler having a crush on spiderman wile they've only talked once it sounds so stupid if you ask me, but hey I wouldn't mind that at all.
