It had been a year since Sa-ling left Malaysia with her family. She had made herself some friends at her new school and spoke to Jisung every day.
Another boring day at school, Sa-ling mumbled to herself as she got ready just then her phone beeped
"Hey, sterling, it's squirrel, guess what?"
Sterling, that was her nickname he gave her as a joke, sterling sounded close to sa-ling, plus she sparkled when she smiled, he said.
She chuckled as she read it.
"What?" she replied back
"I'm coming to korea," he replied
"What, why?"she asked
"I'll tell you later,"
What, she just shook her head laughing he was like that always sending cryptic messages.
She shrugged it off as she finished getting ready for school.

Later that day, she still hadn't heard from him. Was he coming to surprise her, or had his family moved back? She just wanted to know.
As she was walking into her house, she heard a familiar voice.
"Jisung?" She screamed as she hugged him
"What are you doing here?" She said as she let him go.
"Well, I told my parents I was coming here to audition to become a musician, and they said if I didn't get in, then I have to go back and study. Your mum told my mum I could stay here till the audition which is in 2 days, " he said, smiling at her.
"Omg, that's great."

2 days later, Jisung was nervous
"You got this, you're so talented. There's no way you won't get in," Sterling said as she hugged him.
"I hope so,"he said as he looked at the building.
"Go in there and kill it," she added as he walked away.
"I'll let you know how it goes," he said, waving to her.

2 hours later, and she still hadn't heard anything. When suddenly he phone beeped
"I did it, I got in," he said
"I knew you would, right dinner at mine?" she replied

That night, Jisung was chatting excitedly about the audition
"So what do you have to do?" her mum asked
"Well, there's dance training and vocal training, plus English classes," Jisung added
"Oh, and I have to live at the dorms with other trainees," he said
"So much work to put in," her dad added
"I know, but it's what I want," jisung said.
"Well, you know I'm here for support," Sa-ling said.
"And you're welcome here anytime you feel homesick," her mum added. "Thanks, Mrs Park," he said, smiling at the elder female.
