Chapter 8 A Few Broken Hearts

" Jack please come sleep on the bed I don't want you sleeping on the floor" Rose whined to me as she laid on her side while I made my little bed on the floor " It's a small bed Rose, you need your space. Our baby girl is growing" I said and kissed her on the forehead then her stomach " I can't wait to meet you Clara" Rose was 4 months pregnant and we wanted to include Cora in her name so we took what her father told me what her name was going to be" well we have about 5 more months " she sat up and looked me in the eyes slowly moving in for a kiss, we shared a nice long romantic kiss " I love you Jack, you don't know how much I need you" " If I didn't have you I'd probably would've died..." I woke up to Rose crying" Rose?" I got up, grabbed a shirt and walked out of the room and saw the clock in the kitchen"2:30!" "Why didn't you wake me up? I missed the appointment, please tell me Ellie took you " " Jack shut up!" Ellie yelled at me and I stopped in my tracks fixing my shirt " Rose what happened why are you crying" "It's my fault I didn't do something right" " Rose what happened" " I had a miscarriage..." she mumbled but I couldn't hear her" I LOST CLARA!" I hugged Rose tightly, rubbing her stomach crying softly and Ellie came up to us " I'm so sorry" " She's gone" I said and Rose let go of me and sat back down rubbing her stomach crying. I walked upstairs to a little room we helped Ellie clean out that was supposed to be Clara's nursery. I slammed the door and locked it " Jack?" Rose looked up at the door" GOD DAMN IT!"
