Alara vs Katherine Round 2

Alara found Katherine again in Universe 9 after over a day of searching for her. The two stand in the void of space, ready for the other to make the first move. Alara's firey red aura surges around her as Katherine closely examines her prey. "I chased you off for a while, huh? What made you stay away for so long?" Alara asks. "Had to rethink my approach a bit. I wanted to made sure I had at least 20 different ways to kill you before going back, but I guess just 16 will have to do." Katherine threatens. "Ooh, so scary. Show me!" Alara says as she charges forward at her. Katherine holds her blade out in front of her and it splits into multiple blades that orbit around her. Alara jumps up and dives at her. Katherine sends all the blades at her at once, but Alara seems to vibrate in place and the blades phase through her. She thrusts her claws into Katherine's chest, spraying blood throughout the area as Alara smiles. Her smile fades however, when Katherine chuckles at her. "Hm. That won't do." Katherine says as she turns to pixels. The pixels spread to Alara quickly and envelope her body. She tries to wipe them off, but can't as she consume her. She powers up to get them off her finally and sees Katherine standing just as she did before the fight started. "...16 will have to do." Katherine says again. Alara looks confused for a moment, but her smile soon returns as well. "Ooh, so scary. Show me!" Alara says as she again speeds to Katherine. Just as before, she holds out her short blade and it multiplies itself. Alara jumps up and dives at her with her claws. "Too easy." Katherine says to herself. She jumps up to meet Alara and when Alara swipes at her, Katherine slides behind her and puts her in a sleeper hold. The blades then speed to Alara and stab her body, inflicting multiple wounds and making Alara wince. Katherine then kicks her downward and turns the blades to pixels that begin to tear away at Alara's body. She powers up again and destroys the blades before they can do too much damage. "Oh what a shame. That was #7. I was quite fond of that one." Katherine says. "Lucky shot!" Alara snarls angrily at her. Her claws turns yellow with holy light as she sends a claw shaped ki wave at Katherine. She holds out her hand swipes to the side, making the wave go around her. Alara then opens a portal that sends the wave back at Katherine from behind. Katherine turns around and smiles again. "No good." Katherine says as she turns to pixels again. She appears behind Alara and throws some pixels at her again that quickly take over her body again. She wipes them off angrily and growls at Katherine who's again floating above her. "...I was quite fond of that one." Katherine says. Alara powers up angrily. "Lucky shot!" Alara says as she sends a holy ki wave at Katherine again. "Pssh. So predictable." Katherine says to herself as she swipes the wave to her side again. Alara opens another portal behind Katherine that sends the ki wave back at her. Katherine winks before teleporting away in a burst of pixels.

She reversed the polarity of the portal, sending the ki wave speeding back at Alara. Alara snaps away to avoid it and Katherine appears in front of her and swipes her blade at Alara's arm, cutting it off at her forearm. Alara yells in pain as her blood pours from the open wound. Katherine reels back her blade and aims for Alara's head. Alara snaps a good distance away while her arm regenerates. "Yaaaawn..." Katherine says with a fake, exaggerated yawn. Alara snarls back angrily as she powers up to Onyx Instinct. Her black aura burns ferociously around her and she shakes the whole Universe as she yells in frustration. "I'm going to rip your face off!!!" Alara declares angrily. "Not one for subtlety, I see." Katherine says half-heartedly. Before she can even process, Katherine feels sharp impact in her stomach's and goes flying back with a sonic boom as Alara punches her hard. Katherine catches herself and looks down to see Alara's fist burned part of her suit off at her stomach. "Tch. What a bitch." Katherine says annoyed before Alara quickly zips behind her and kicks her in the back of her head, sending her spiraling away. Alara then sends a barrage of black flames at Katherine. She catches herself and uses her blade to deflect them all back at Alara. They turn to pixels as she does and Alara tries her best to dodge them, but one catches her right in the face. She wipes her face to restore her vision and Katherine is behind her, giving a fake yawn. Alara angrily powers up again and proclaims, "I'm going to rip your face off!!!" Katherine merely shakes her head. "Not one for subtlety, I see." She says she blocks her stomach preemptively. As she suspected, she blocks a punch from Alara that was too quick for her to see. Alara looks up at her in shock. "What?!? How did you-" Alara says as Katherine chuckles. "Try again." Katherine says. Alara grits her teeth angrily and snaps behind Katherine. She kicks her in the back of her head and sends her flying away. Katherine catches herself and turns around, ready to deflect the blasts again with her blade. Her smile goes away when she sees that Alara isn't where she's supposed to be anymore. Katherine senses her but can't move fast enough as Alara comes from the side and claws her face, knocking her mask off her face and spraying blood. Katherine staggers back and feels her face which is now bleeding. She looks back at Alara angrily as she smiles back. "Ahahahaha! You dumbass! How long did you think I'd keep falling for that?!?" Alara laughs at her. "What?!? No way! How did you-" Katherine asks but Alara doesn't even let her finish asking. "You think I didn't notice you trapped us both in a time loop? You did it the moment you got here. I just played along so you'd get that stupid overconfident look on your face!" Alara says taunting her.
