Shiv was stunned by the unexpected turn of events and couldn't comprehend what had just transpired. Initially, he thought it was some sort of prank and attempted to call her numerous times, but to no avail. He was certain she hadn't meant a single word she'd said and had been forced to utter those statements. It was clear that she was hiding something from him. Desperate to speak with her, he wished she would just answer his calls. He wanted nothing more than to leave Thailand and return to his Namya, but he was bound by his contract to stay until the event concluded the following day. The situation was eating him alive.

Throughout the next day, while shooting for the event, Shiv attempted to call her multiple times, but his efforts remained unsuccessful. In the evening, he received the shock of his life while scrolling through Instagram. Numerous fan posts about Shantanu and Nimrit popped up, exclaiming, "Finally back together." This development was deeply upsetting for him, but he wanted to know what had prompted their fans to support their reunion. He then came across a post shared by Nimrit featuring several pictures of her on a beach, captioned, "Maybe it's time to just start over...". Simultaneously, Shantanu posted a few pictures of himself at the same beach, sparking the reconciliation rumors. Shiv couldn't help but wonder, "Kyaa Namya kal sach bol rahi thi? Agar sach bol bhi rahi hogi, fir bhi, how can she move on so quickly? Was our relationship just a lie?" He had never experienced such heartbreak and helplessness in his entire life.

Back in Mumbai, Nimrit felt immense guilt for posting those pictures on Instagram. However, she had decided to give her relationship with Shantanu another chance, for her parents' sake. Deep down, she knew that their relationship was doomed and unlikely to last long, but she felt helpless and wanted to make her parents happy. She thought to herself, "Mera Shiva kyaa soch raha hoga mere baare me ye pictures dekhne ke baad? Nafrat karne lagega vo mujhse." Her heartbreak and devastation were no less profound than Shiva's. She knew she was causing him pain, but there was nothing she could do to ease his suffering.

As soon as the shoot concluded, Shiv took the earliest available flight back to Mumbai. Upon arrival, he headed straight to Nimrit's apartment first thing in the morning. Initially, she was unwilling to open the door and face him, but he insisted that he wouldn't leave without talking to her. To avoid causing a disturbance in her building, she eventually opened the door.

Shiv – Namya, kyaa hai ye sab? Kyuu aise behave kar rahi hai mere saath? Kis baat ki itni badi saja de rahi hai mujhe?

Nimrit – It's Nimrit, aaj ke baad mujhe kabhi Namya karke mat bulana. And I'm not answerable to any of your questions, she said sternly.

Shiv was shocked to hear this coming from his Namya.

Shiv – But I deserve an explanation. Tu uthke bolegi breakup aur mai maan lu.

Nimrit – Mai tujhe koi explanation nahi dene wali. I don't love you anymore, she said while trying to hold her tears back.

Shiv – Toh us Shantanu se pyaar karti hai tu, he asked angrily.

Nimrit – Tujhse matlab? Aur please, hum mere building me hai, ye tamasha band kar ab.

Shiv – Tu pyaar karti hai usse??

Nimrit – Haa karti hu, she lied.

Shiv – Tu jhooth bol rahi hai. Himmat hai toh meri aakho me dekhke bol ye sab.

Nimrit – Haa karti hu mai Shantanu se pyaar, she yelled. I never loved you, apna Rishta bass game ke liye tha. Ab samajh aayi tujhe puri baat, she said while tears flowed down her eyes. Iske baad mujhse kabhi baat karne ki yaa milne ki koshish mat karna, she said while slamming the door shut.

The moment she closed the door, Nimrit collapsed to the floor, breaking down completely. Shiv, too, was shaken to his core, and couldn't believe what he had just heard. Tears streamed down his face endlessly. Feeling helpless, he left her building with a heavy heart, utterly broken and disheartened.

A year went by since that incident, and both Shiv and Nimrit immersed themselves in work to avoid thinking about anything else. They had cut each other out of their lives entirely, as that seemed to be the only way to forget one another. Nimrit distanced not only from Shiv but also from everyone associated with BB16, except for Sumbul. Within three to four months, she had broken up with Shantanu, as expected. Shantanu had never been serious about her; he was the type of person who desired what he couldn't have. When his interest shifted to another unattainable girl, he lost interest in Nimrit, leading to their breakup. For the first time, however, Nimrit felt relief rather than sadness from a breakup. Despite this, the situation resulted in a strained relationship with her parents.

One day, Sumbul decided to visit Nimrit's house unexpectedly to check up on her since they hadn't spoken in a while. Nimrit's parents were also home at the time and greeted Sumbul with warmth and affection.

Sumbul – Kaise ho aap sab? Bahot din se meri Nimrit se baat nahi hui thi, isliye socha milke aau. Disturb toh nahi kar rahi naa mai?

Nimrit – No Sums, accha hua tum aagayi, mai vaise bhi bore ho rahi thi.

Mum – Hum roz tumhara serial dekhte hai beta, bahot accha kaam karti ho tum.

Sumbul – Thank you, aunty!!!

Dad – Vaise vo Shiv kaisa hai? Vo kyaa kar raha hai aaj kal?

Nimrit was taken aback by her father's question, but since she was equally curious about Shiv's whereabouts, she decided to let it go.

Sumbul – Vo toh ekdam badhiya hai. Uski ek marathi movie ke liye shooting chal rahi hai, jisme vo main lead play kar raha hai. Toh bahot khush hai vo.

Nimrit felt a sense of happiness knowing that her Shiva was making such rapid progress in the film industry.

Mum – Tumhari usse baat hoti rehti hai kyaa?

Sumbul – Haa aunty, hum almost every weekend milte rehte hai. Vo mere bade bhai jaisa hai mere liye. Bahot care karta hai vo meri. Kabhi din kharab jaa raha ho yaa kuch bura hua ho mere saath, to usko ek call karti hu toh sab thik hojaata hai. Mujhe pata rehta hai, koi nahi toh Shiv hai mere saath, bich raaste kabhi chodke nahi jayega vo mujhe. Parso hi shoot ke time mere pair me chot lagi, toh vo raatko uske shoot ke baad mere liye bahot saari chocolates aur gifts leke aaye. Papa bhi usko daat te hai, mujhe aur Saniya (Sumbul's sister) ko itna pamper karne ke liye.

She spent the evening with Nimrit and then left. After she left Nimrit went to speak with her parents.

Nimrit – Aap dono Shiv ke baare me kyuu puch rahe the? Aapko kabse uski chinta hone lagi?

Mum – Humne bass aise hi pucha.

Dad – Yes beta, we were wrong about him. Humne vo Shantanu ke baato me aake misjudge kar liya Shiv ko. Agar us din hum bichme nahi padte, toh aaj shayad tum bahot khush hoti. We are sorry about everything, but please don't be so distant from us.

Nimrit – Bahot jaldi pata chala aapko, saying that she turned to leave.

Mum – Tumhe chahiye toh hum Shiv se baat kar lenge, usse maafi bhi maang lenge. Use sab sach bata denge ki isme tumhari koi galti nahi thi, ye sab tumne humare kehne par kiya tha.

Nimrit – Aap dono aisa kuch nahi karoge. Meri vaje se use already bahot pareshani hui hai, mai usko aur taklif nahi dena chahati. He has finally moved on and is in a happy place because of his career, mai usko firse piche nahi khichna chahati. Aapne meri jo help ki thi utni kaafi hai, ab aur help nahi chahiye mujhe, she said harshly. Shiv ab khush hai, use vaise hi rehne do.

Dad – Aur tumhari Khushi kaa kyaa?

Nimrit just sighed sadly and left the room ...
