As she ran across the main park to Paddock Nine, she called Lowery over the radio. "I need you to open Paddock Nine for me."

"Oh, Addie, thank god you're okay."

"Paddock Nine, Lowery."

"Right. Yeah, no way."

"Lowery, I'm telling you, you're doing this or none of us are making it off this island."

"Jesus, fine. It's open."

As the alarm rang out and the gate started to open, she heard loud footsteps approach. She lit the flare, waiting for the Tyrannosaurus Rex to appear into sight before bolting off back to Main Street. She knew the dinosaur was right on her tail, but her years of track would pay off. They had to.

The T-Rex was right on her ass. She could feel the air coming from its steps. As soon as she came within range of the Indominus, she threw the flare as hard as she could, hitting the larger dinosaur. The T-Rex directed all its attention to the Indominus.

She ran as fast as could in the opposite direction. She slid onto the ground under one of the tables outside Margaritaville. She watched the two Rexes battle, crawling away from the danger zone of falling rock. She reached the others and hid behind a sculpture.

The Indominus was about go in for the kill, but a raptor jumped onto its back, distracting long enough for the T-Rex to back it up to the edge of the Mosasaur tank. The Mosasaur leaped out of the water, pulling the I-Rex into the water, ending it. The T-Rex looked at the group briefly, but walked away. Blue and Owen shared a small moment, and Blue ran after the T-Rex.

The next morning, Owen and Adeline were walking around tending to the injured and helping families find each other. So far, Adeline had reunited parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, friends, and sorority sisters. She did her fair share of breaking bad news as well. Mainly, she was running supplies for the doctors and comforting the crying children. After nearly having over six hours of this, from the moment she arrived the night before to dawn the next day, she sat down on a bench in the corner, letting herself finally rest.

Lowery sat down next to her, having made it downstairs from the control room. She grabbed onto him tightly and did not let go. Thanking him profusely for everything he day in the last day, she cried onto his shoulder. He cried some too, and broke the news that he tried to kiss Vivian before she left and that it completely failed. She leaned her head on his shoulder, quickly falling asleep. She'd been up for over twenty-four hours, and God knows she hadn't done much sleeping the night before. Lowery fell asleep with his head resting on top of hers.

At about eight o'clock, just two hours later, Lowery woke Adeline up. He gave her a water bottle and told her that he was leaving to go help, but that he'd be back eventually.

She curled up against the wall, and was joined shortly by Owen. "Hi." She muttered.

"Hey, Ads." He gathered her into his arms, resting his chin on top of her head. "It's okay. We're okay."

She shook her head. "Look at all these people, Owen. No one is okay."

"They're alive, Adeline. Because of what you did to help." He turned her face to look at him.

"You did most of it." She said, kissing the hand that he'd lifted her chin with. He smiled. She sighed, but he was right. Many more people would be dead if Owen, Claire, and Adeline hadn't gotten together. Including Zach and Grey.

"Come on, let's get you something to eat." They stood up. "Margaritaville?"

"Shut up." She pushed his shoulder, laughing. They got in line at the resource areas that had been set up and got themselves some of the provided food, however limited. They found Claire, and the three of them sat together with Zach and Grey and their family. Adeline leaned over to Owen. "Now that we're unemployed, where do we go? I am not going back to Massachusetts. Ever."
