The Breakout

Chapter 1

I have recently been transferred to a maximum security prison in America called Litchfield. I was charged 10 years for selling drugs and suspected murder. As I was entering the gates of the prison I was really scared because of how big it was and the other women looked terrifying. I had to get strip searched. one of the correction officers came up to me and said " you are going into cell H and you are going to be bunkies with Vause"

I replied with "yes officer" with a sarcastic tone.

As I was settling into my bunk and putting my essentials aside me i heard "hello there"

so i said "umm hello?" she came towards me and said:

"whats your name" i introduce myself as Raya and she asked what I was in this shithole for.

I said " for selling drugs and suspected murder".

She looked stunned. In my mind she was gorgeous but anyway i instantly snapped out of it I asked

"whats your name and what are you in for?" 

She replied with: "Well, I'm Alex Vause and I'm in for grand theft and murder" she looked at me smiling. I looked back with a smirk on my face i asked she was going to talk but an officer interrupted me

"inmate can you follow me please" I rolled my eyes back and agreed. 

The officer took me into a cleaning cupboard and demanded me to clean. He had to supervise me because i didn't know where i was going. As i was sweeping the floor, another inmate tried to talk to me but the officer told them to back off as she was not in my block.

I said to the officer "why did you tell her to go away? I'm allowed to make a few friends in here you know". The officer told me to go back to my cell even though i dont know where I'm going so i just asked other inmates. They led me the way there. 

As i went back to my cells i couldn't find Alex anywhere but someone knocked on my door and asked "Are you the new newbie?" she asked.

"Yeah I'm Raya i guess but if you dont mind,let me sleep" she looked a bit pissed off mind and walked off so i shouted "fair well bitch" then went to sleep.

-The next day-

i woke up to Alex telling me to wake up. i jumped out of bed and almost wacked my head on the bunk bed

"ALEXX!"

She started laughing hysterically "Sorry Raya i had to! You could sleep for days woman"

I rolled my eyes. Anyway, it was time for Breakfast so Alex and I walked to the dining hall and got served with food. We sat next to the rest of H block.

"Well who's this? asked another inmate.

Alex replied with "She's new here and she's kind of hot" I blushed and made quick eye contact. After that, i ate my breakfast with the other inmates and we all went back to our bunks. I was alone with Alex again. "what was that about?" I ask.

She looked confused, "When i said your hot? I'm not wrong am I?" I chuckled away to myself

"Of course I'm hot, its me boo" we both started laughing but now i know around the prison thanks to Alex  

In mind... i think I'm starting to have feelings for her even though i just met her...

"Raya are you there?" said Alex 

"Yes Alex I'm here sorry i was daydreaming" I laughed and we just decided to chill for a while. There was a sudden alarm going off, I asked Alex "what was this about?

She replied "Ah just some mischief, inmates causally kicking the shit out of each other"

I just stared at her "Oh..I best get used to this" Alex nodded at me. the officers announced that there's going to be a lockdown. "So, that means we are going to be stuck together till this is over" i said Alex just looks at me making me feel nervous.

"You're going to be fine your with me, I will keep you safe" i smiled at her and I replied with "thank you". For the whole day, me and Alex were just sat on our bunks talking about our life stories.
