Work has been a real pain in my ass for the past couple of days. It seems like I can never do anything right for that man. Now every night I just walk aimlessly talking to myself. One night I found a random park. I mean might as well go rest for a bit. I've been walking since 6 and it's dark as hell out here.

I settled near a bench and leaned my back against it. I took in a deep breath and looked at the stars. "I'm trying to make it Ma.. Life is just.. Being an ass back to me.. But ya know.. What you always say. "La vie est la vie et on ne peut rien y faire"." While I searched the sky far constellations I started talking to myself again without even knowing it. "I understand that I have to live this curse called my life but could it be a bit less fucked up. I lost my wife a week before our wedding. My son died at war.. My daughters went missing.. And now a whole community is without a Queen or King.. I'm sure the smart ones will know I'm not dead. I can't, that's just me.. Can't die, can't have anything good. Can't, can't, can't.."

"Sorry to but in your little conversation to yourself but if you don't mind-" Another voice came from the other side of the bench.

I jumped thinking I was the only one here. "What the hell!! Who-"

"Sorry to startle you. I heard that you're a king are you not?"

"First, who the hell even are you?"

"Oh, where are my manners? My name is Crinsoth."

"You can call me Lokye. Yes, I am a King."

"Nice to meet you. If you don't mind me asking' the king of what?"

"Heh. Ever heard of the Devil?"

"Yes? I mean haven't we all?"

"Ya talkin to em. King of Hell baby! Oh it's so pretty there.. The skies a nice crimson color. Waters look like some blood river heheh. The night sky always had a purple tint to it. Stars are nice and pretty. No one judges you on how ya look."

"Oh my. I mean. That explains the rudeness in your tone."

"Haha you think you're funny huh?"

"Matter of fact I do."

I laugh at the man's joke. "My kind of people. Fuck it. Ya know what." I hop over the bench to sit down with the man. "Well hello~"

"Woah. Even look like something that crawled out of hell too and you sure do curse a lot." The old man closes his book.

"I don't know if that's a threat or a compliment." I growl at the man.

"I don't mean any harm. You sure are a unique looking individual. How'd you get that? I'm sorry for all the questions." Crinsoth points to his eye.

"Nah it's fine. You're funny lookin too. No offence. Uhm. How I got this crack is one of my nieces thought it was a good Idea to throw an axe at my head."

"Oh my."'

"Yeah. I passed out cuz I bled out." I laugh.

"How can you laugh at that? You should be glad you made it."

"You said I'm rude. What's with ya? What? You a mortal?" I grin.

"And you're not?" "Nope. Can't die. Part of my curse, old man."

"Curse?"

"Yup. I'm also a God believe it or not. I know I know. I'm a full package deal."

"Your story just never stops huh?" "There's a lot more where that came from."

"Oh? Should I be scared?"

"Very."

"Oh boy.. what have I gotten myself involved with." The old man said under his breath.

"I mean I don't wanna tell my whole life to a random ass man in the park."

"It's getting late. I need to head home. Nice meeting you Lokye."

"Nice meeting you, too old man. Might as well head home as well. I have a little brother waiting for me at home."

"Good night sir." "Bonne nuit à toi aussi gentil monsieur." I Bow to the gentleman and go home.
