STEPHON

Today would be the day she finds out one of my most precious secrets. A secret she should have known from the beginning because she was mine. A secret that would be tough for my human mate to digest. She had no idea what I truly was, a beast, besides this human form I took.

I heard the sounds of her footsteps coming down the stairs and moments later appearing in the dinning hall. Her scent immediately hits me giving my cock an instant hard on. I called her over to sit next to me and gave her a sweet kiss.

My beta Max and his mate introduced themselves, she smiles and returned the warm act. Confusion played on her face, though at the use of words Alpha, Luna and Beta. After my introduction of her to the pack, she continues to eat in silence before heading back to the room.

Some seconds later I followed her into the room stopping by the bed. I can hear her thoughts clearly trying to come to terms with our unusual use of words.

Grace, I called to her.

The rampage continues throughout her mind, loud and clear. Those people down there are part of my pack, the Crystal Lake Pack. We're not what you think we are love, we're werewolves and I'm the alpha.

She spun on her heels and watched me like I've grown two heads. She goes back to her mind war, so I did the only thing to grab her attention.

I can hear your thoughts I said to her through mind link, her rambling goes on, so I spoke again. No, you're not hearing things love. She turned and face me; I smile and head for the door locking it. There was only one other thing I can do for her to see the truth and it was way riskier than telling her.

I remained by the door and began to shift, the sound of my bones breaking fills the room until my large grey wolf stood on all fours staring right at our mate. Her mouth opened wide but was to stun to say anything.

She swayed from side to side, eyes slowly closing then it was complete shutdown, her body started going down. Before she made contact with the hard wood floor, my wolf leaped forward to cushion her fall, placing himself under her.

Now she has seen what I am, I have a lot of explaining to do. It was a risk, but she was mine and deserved the truth. The only fear that plagued me was, would she run and exposed our secret or stayed and give us a shot.

I need her.

I want her.

How would I live without my heartbeat? The very thought of my mate gets me hard, her smell sends my body into a frenzy. I was the first alpha in centuries to have a human mate. I wasn't ashamed of her; I was proud and happy that she's mine and made only for me. The pack loved her, even my beta's mate was excited to have a new friend, the kids adored her.

Besides all this that has happened, I still had that mystery texter to deal with. Only recently the messages started back and was getting a bit personal for my taste.

Whoever they were, knew stuff about me, my pack and my mate. My mate. If they only lay one finger on her. My blood begins to boil, I will murder them. Rip their head of their shoulders and place it on a stake outside the pack house gates. Let it be a reminder for those who dream of crossing the line with an alpha.

Grace means everything to me; I would give my life for her. Thinking back to when she joined the company, I was more than happy that I didn't take any of my mother's advice towards her. I came to the city to learn more about humans and their lifestyle and found my mate.

It feels good coming off my tongue.

MINE.

Goosebumps erupts on my skin like wildfire, and a delicious shiver raced down my spine. I will have her, take her in every position existed, until she can't remember who she is. And only remember who she belonged to.

My beta Max had always teased me about finding a mate. He's the only pack member that gets away with practically everything. He is my second in command and also like a brother to me and I appreciate him.

When he found his mate, he was head over heels about her, I would make fun of him of how he acted like a schoolgirl and he would always reply, who laugh last, laugh the best. And it was just that, he was enjoying himself to the fullest.

Could I blame him? Nah. As I was experiencing the fate he pass through. Which wasn't easy, it was hard to leave her side, my wolf would roar at the simple thought of going to work. He didn't want to be away for a second. He waited so long for her.

Since we found her, I kept thinking everyday was I good enough. Would she be disappointed in me? But because of the bond, my mind and body felt at ease, I can feel what she feels, and I can hear her thoughts loud and clear when she's pissed.

As alpha I have a responsibility to my mate and my pack. It's my job to look after the packs wellbeing and keeping them safe. I know not telling Grace from the very beginning was the biggest mistake I made but I only did that to protect her. I wanted when she found out that it was a special moment for us.

The plan has changed though, and I was forced to tell her in a way she might not understand. I kept my calm as she carries on her rampage; she had every right to be.

Honesty was the most important in a relationship and I fail at that to begin with. I would gladly take whatever beating she felt free to give me, until she was satisfied. My phone vibrated in my pocket, and I took it out to see a message notification.

"I see you told her about yourself and your pack as if that would prevent me from doing anything. Try all you may alpha, but with an unmarked mate, an irritated wolf and my plans for you. You would not survive. It would be a plus for me and your greatest downfall. Have a nice life alpha Henry".
