One day before the meeting, Creighton woke up. His eyes opened very gradually. He gazed up at the ceiling and across to the side of the room where the window was open, and the breeze was brushing the drapes. The injury on his right leg continued to hurt. Yet he managed to pull himself to a sitting position. There was nobody around to feed him until Lady Agatha came in with a bowl of water.
Lady Agatha knowingly dropped the tray when she saw him conscious. There was a thud when the bowl hit the ground. She hurriedly embraced him and became so emotional that she started crying. Pure solace and yearning replaced the need for words.
"I thought you would never wake up." Lady Agatha cried.
"And, I thought, I would never see you and Liam, again." Creighton cried.
Creighton let go of her as he gently caresses her face. While he touched Lady Agatha, she clutched his hand. They were emotional to see one another again after what seemed like a long separation.

Liam and the rest were glad and at ease to see him awake. Although he was unable to walk for some time. He is happy to be reunited with them and his family. Lady Agatha explained to him when he was recuperating, unconsciously. He is not against Agatha's decision, as long as it would protect her and her new family now.
As they both lay on the bed with Liam at the center sleeping soundly. They looked into each other's eyes like before. Their eyes express their affection for one another.
"Will you be alright tomorrow at the meeting?" Creighton worriedly asked.
"Yes, I will. Donald will be there with me, and Brighton will bring his men to make sure no commotion will happen, especially with my uncle," she said while gently tapping Liam's belly.
"What will happen next?" Creighton asked.
"We'll leave the city and live in Vondale for a while," Agatha said as she caressed Creighton's face with her right hand.
Creighton nodded and smiled as he agreed to Agatha's decision. He knew that Agatha does not want to lose someone again, as well as he did. They had a good night's sleep as they held hands with Liam sleeping so soundly. Liam smiled while he slept as if he was dreaming something magical and joyful.

All the board of directors was assembled in the conference room. They were chattering and confused as to why they were being summoned for the first time by Lady Agatha. While they were exchanging conversation of news, and few were laughing, Lord Douglas Ashton came in with his butler. Everyone kept quiet as he walked between them. Some were intimidated by his arrogant appearance. However, few were snubbed and went to their respective seats.
"Lord Douglas, do you have any idea why Lady Agatha called us?" one of the shareholders asked. He was sitting beside Lord Douglas Ashton.
"I guess she just wants to meet us if she does not want to lose the shareholders of this company. She's been on hiatus for 5 years. So, it's time for her to acknowledge the board of directors' contributions." He smirked, as the rest seated at ease.
While waiting, Brighton came. However, without their knowledge, Brighton's men were already on standby. Two outside the conference door room. Brighton seated as his colleague whispered in his ears. They laughed about something as Lord Douglas glanced at them.
Surprisingly, Lady Agatha came with Butler Donald carrying folders with documents in them, and with two bodyguards. They stood up and greeted her. But they were in awe to see her presence without her mask. She was mesmerizing even with a scar. A few of the shareholders' jaws dropped as they saw her after 5 years. She has changed a lot. They find her more intimidating compared to Lord Douglas Ashton. Lord Douglas did not stand up but acted like he was the boss as he looked after the company when she was away. He wasn't even surprised to see her with bodyguards. For all, who knows, he did something vicious behind Lady Agatha.
