Izuku stared blankly at his phone screen as they sat in the classroom waiting for school to start. He hadn't told Shinso yet, the other boy hadn't slept at all and was currently trying desperately to catch some z's at his desk. Honestly he wasn't quite sure what he was going to do about the message that had popped up on his phone.
Mom: Hello Izuku, how are you doing? I was wondering if you would like to grab tea soon? I want to catch up, and I have someone I would like you to meet!
How should he respond? Did he want to see her? He kind of did, their separation was quick and unexpected after all. He wanted to know if she really meant she didn't want him any more when she gave up their home. Maybe all of this was just one big misunderstanding? And who did she want him to meet?
Should he go?
He didn't have an answer by the time the bell rang so he put his phone away and did his best to push the issue from his mind. After all, he had a whole busy day of classroom jumping ahead.

The greenette rushed around as he packed orders. Today was one of the days he and Hitoshi ate at home so he needed to get this last order packed up in time for them to make the train.
He's sure if they missed it one of their guardians would pick them up with the car but he really didn't want to inconvenience them if he didn't have to. He's scrambling up the step stool, box of accumulated parts under one arm when it all goes wrong.
"Hey Izu you alm- woah!" Hitoshi had just started to round the corner to check and see how much longer he would be waiting. Only to watch in alarm as the smaller boy teetered precariously. He dashed forwards before he fully registered what was happening, getting behind Izuku just in time for 140 Lbs of muscle to slam into him sending both of them to the ground.
The two boys laid stunned amongst the mess of sprawling parts for a moment, winded at the sudden fall. After a moment the purple haired teen groaned breathlessly from his spot beneath the disaster that is one Midoriya Izuku.
Hearing him the freckled boy startled into a scramble to right himself, only for his hand to land on a ball bearing and send him slamming back down face first with a yelp. Hitoshi wheezed and placed a hand on his assailant's back to keep the other boy still while they figured out the situation and how to get out of it without breaking any of his ribs.
After managing a few deep breaths he lifted his head up intenting to look around to see where the worst of the mess was. Instead he came face to face with the emeralds that had captivated him many times over the past few months looking down at him with quiet concern. He felt his face light up at the realization of how close their faces were when Izuku's breath tickled across his skin. It wasn't like they didn't cuddle regularly, but something about this position felt alot more than their friendly nap time puddles.
"...Toshi? You o-ok?" Purple eyes flickered down to his friend's frowning mouth, noticing that Izuku had been gnawing at his lips again. There was a raw patch that he kind of wanted to kiss better. And was that a freckle he hadn't noticed hiding in the corner of his mouth?
"H-hitoshi?" The boy in question grunted at the reminder that he had been asked a question, looking back up a bit to find that green eyes had widened and that Izuku himself was now blushing furiously behind his freckles. Lit up like a neon sign. It was almost to adorable to bear. Hitoshi let himself admire his crush for a second longer before sighing out a "Yeah…" and removing his hand so his friend could start the process of standing again. Though this time he was alot more carful about watching where he placed his hands.
