Eventually everyone was convinced to settle enough to eat their food and Hitoshi accepted the relieved looks from his two friends once they realised what was on their trays. Rolling his eyes fondly and nudging their food closer so they knew he wouldn't take not eating as an answer.
The sheepish smiles were almost as good as caffeine.

The tests that afternoon were just as exhausting. Taking up all of their brainspace until the last bell let them know that they were free for the day. Exhausted kids slumped back into their seats. Passing tests to the teacher who walked amongst the desks and washing their hands of the stress for the moment.
Soon Aizawa sensei was at the front of the room for dismissal. Reminding then that the next day, Thursday, would be a half day. They would have the afternoon off before needing to be at the school nice and early for their last test. The practical exam. He then locked eyes with Midoriya to make sure the kid remembered that he actually had to stay late Thursday for the support practical.
Green eyes blinked. And then a nod of confirmation soothed the teacher enough for him to finish releasing his hellions for the day. And then it was over. For the moment at least. And teens around the room started up subdued chatter as they packed bags and checked phones and otherwise readied themselves to go home.
Izuku and Hitoshi hung tight for a few minutes until the rest of their class had headed off. Before they got up themselves and joined Aizawa in his trek to the teacher's lounge. They really hoped Yamada was already there and waiting for them. Neither of them wanted to do anything but go home and collapse on the couch to watch something mindless on tv for a few hours.
Their wish was granted. The blonde hero was standing by his desk, bag slung over his shoulder, and chatting with Midnight. Aizawa smiled slightly as his husband laughed at one of her bad jokes, before making their presence known with a cough and a raised eyebrow that had his partner giving their friend a quick hug before rushing out of the room.
And when they make it home, to the couch and yummy snacks and a dumb baking show, all of them take the moment to just relax. The teens sprawled out together while the two men cuddled and chatted about the schedule for the rest of the testing. Until, eventually, snacks weren't enough and Yamada scrolled through take out places calling out options until they all settled on something so he could order.
And when the food showed up on their door and already sleepy kids were ushered into the kitchen to sit at the table the two heros couldn't help but share a look. Overly fond of the two charges that they had been entrusted with. Happy for the quiet moment they were getting to share.

Hitoshi was settled into a desk chair in the lounge. Waiting on his best friend to finish his first practical while guzzling coffee in an effort to replenish his energy. That morning hadn't been too bad, he had taken the chemistry and algebra finals as well as Japanese literature. The two more brainy tests he felt he did well on due to all of the drills and quizzes he had done with Izuku and Denki. The Lit test he actually found kind of fun, going over short stories and poems and riddling out their pretentious 'meanings'.
