In retrospect they should have expected the mess that was 1A being told to go home after they watched their teacher and the Number One Hero beat the ever living shit out of their classmates. As it was Hound Dog and Snipe were unprepared for the viciousness of their reaction to being dismissed. The counselor immediately started running damage control but by that point the last straw had been laid.
Aizawa was called for and reluctantly left the little family he had just reunited with to go and coax his panicking class to calm themselves. When he arrived at the classroom a few minutes later he wasn't surprised to be able to hear raised voices all the way down the hall. Also unsurprised at the curious faces peeking out of 1B's doors. He ordered them back into their room before he steadied himself and opened the door to his own mess of little monsters.
"Enough." His exhausted tone cut through the class like a knife. Instantly they quieted, though it wasn't to last. An anxiously trembling Kaminari stepped forwards quickly to confront their teacher. "Sensei! Are Izuku and Hitoshi ok?! What the hell happened?! Why didn't All Might stop when Nezu told him to through the comms?! What's going on?!"
Shouta sighed quietly before motioning for the shaking kid to sit down, prompting his other hellspawn to do the same. He ended up surrounded by a half circle of teenagers ranged around him on all of the closest available surfaces, including the floor. "Ok. First off. Midoriya and Shinso will be ok. They are currently under observation in the infirmary but are in no immediate danger. Second. All Might admitted that he held a bias against the two students he was paired against and let it cloud his judgement. He is being held accountable for that and you will all be informed of any information needed about that situation soon. But trust me Nezu will do what is needed, the principal is very fond of his students. Now. Raise your hands if you have questions."
He was unsurprised by the number of hands but he still groaned internally at the delay in getting back to his husband and kids. "Yes Yaoyarozu?"
The tall girl shifted a bit where she was sitting primly in a chair. "Sensei… All Might… he has been rude to Midoriya-kun before and I was wondering… Is it because of his quirk status?"
Ah. Right to the crux of the matter. Damn kids are too perceptive really, it might help them as pros but it would be rough in most other situations. "Yes. All Might has made it clear to Nezu that he doesn't believe those lacking a quirk, or possessing a weak quirk, are fit to be heroes. He is wrong, and if any of you have similar concerns let me know and I will schedule conference time for us to go and discuss your issues." Should he be out right telling these students that the Number One Hero is a quirkist piece of shit? Probably not. But again they were perceptive enough to read between the lines no matter what was said so did it matter how he told them?
A lot of the hands went down with his answer which was good. Next he called on Kirishima, slightly concerned by the uncharacteristically dark look on the boy's face. His question clued Shouta in on what the issue was though. "What if we don't want to be taught by someone who is quirkist? Someone who hurt our friends?"
Aizawa couldn't stop his small sly smile as he remembered All Might's dismissal less than an hour before. He met red eyes squarely and confidently assured the boy, "You won't have to worry about that. Trust me." The red head nodded and a lot of the others visibly relaxed.
A few more questions, most of them just the kids being nosey about their missing classmates or trying to dig more into the All Might issue, all fended off with short answers and warnings when they pushed too far. And then Aizawa was making eye contact with the two other teachers in the room, raising an eyebrow at Inui in query. The man huffed and nodded.
