Middle school was a difficult time for Izuku Midoriya. His mom inko would blame and beat him for every little inconvenience, His father abandoned his family when he was three, and his oh so precious best friend katsuki bakugo, would constantly tortured him, all of this because he was quirkless. Normal in a world of superpowed mutants.
As Izuku lay there on the pavement, weakened, bruised, bloody and battered by his best friend" why is a nine year old soaked in his own blood on the side of the road you may ask? Simple. He got an A+ on a test katsuki only got an A. So there he was lying broken in a puddle of his own blood. In other words the perfect target for a villain looking for test subjects who was in the right place at the right time. Otherwise known as Overhaul. The next thing izuku knew he was grabbed and dragged be for passing out. When he woke up he was connected to all sorts of tubes and wires in a cold and dark room, over the next few years izuku was subjected to all sorts of various experiments over those years his appearance has changed. His hair grew long and turned to a silver and black, and his eyes changed of his beautiful jade to a heterochromatic bright yellow and a brilliant blue. A long black and silver fuzzy jackal tail also emerged, and a strange gem known as the phantom ruby was implanted in his chest

But the changes didn't just affect Izuku's appearance; his memories were oh so fuzzy. He remembered all the pain and resentment he felt towards everyone who had ever mistreated him - his fake friends, uncaring and often abusive mother, and above all he hated his "best friend" katsuki. Izuku hated everything that is Izuku Midoriya, all that it represented, and he took up a new name and mantle - Infinite- to signify his newfound sense of freedom.
Infinite tired of the endless pain blasted his way out freeing any surviving experiments in particular a small girl by the name of erii, a three-year-old girl who had also been experimented on by Overhaul. Together, they roamed around the streets stealing to survive in a world that rejected them. But they eventually found a slightly run down cozy little café owned by a kind old man that offered them a home. The old man, who was named rango treated them like family. In the time since escaping Infinite and Eri gotten closer to the point eri had even called him "papa" from time to time and Infinite finally deciding to adopt eri as his own, when eri heard that mr. Infinite would officially be her papa she cried tears of joy, and Infinite would let a genuine smile cross his face for the first time in a long time l.
As katsuki lied in his bed, regretting his actions. he couldn't accept that he had hurt his best friend so badly. It was his fault that izuku was kidnapped it was HIS fault he was missing he was no less the those worthless villain extra's. But He swore to himself that he would find Izuku and save him even if he had to fight all of japan to get to his captures, and maybe even they could be friends again even if he didn't deserve it - but deep down he new it was far too late to be forgiven.
Infinite did not want to remember his past he remembers the pain and it was bad enough with out context. As far as he new he actually was lucky for the experiments. anyone who might be looking for Izuku Midoriya wouldn't recognize him now. All that mattered was his newfound freedom and Eri. the Izuku they all once knew was gone, replaced by Infinite but that didn't matter to him. He and Eri were free, and finally, they had found a place to call home.
Soon old man rango who infinite came to deeply respect was bedridden all he asked was for izuku (yes infinite trusts the old man enough to tell him his and what he knows of eri's past) to take care of the the cafe. With a little bit of elbow grease, hard work and Phantom Ruby clones for good measure the cafe was good as new even renamed to "cafe phantom" and has even gotten pretty popular.
