Harry dives into the scalding treasure, Instantly, dozens of Hufflepuff Cups burst from my fist, but I hold tight to the original, grimacing in pain.

"In here!" Hermione said.

Hermione holds her beaded bag before and I jam it inside. As we turn for the door, we stop. Griphook holds the sword, the real sword, in his hands, turning the blade in the light.

"We have a deal, Griphook," I said and Griphook looks up. A kind of madness burns in his eyes.

"I said I'd get you in. I never said anything about getting you out," Griphook said.

Pivoting swiftly, he slams Bogrod's hand to the door and as it melts, Harry, Ron, Hermione and I ride an avalanche of silver and gold into the outer chamber. As we find our feet, the dragon roars and spits fire, illuminating the tunnel I see shadows approach, stretching over the tunnel walls Gringotts goblins and guards.

"Griphook! Griphook!" Harry said.

But Griphook merely looks back, grins madly and, sword in hand, rushes to join the approaching throng.

"Thieves! Help! Thieves!" Griphook said.

"Foul little git. At least we've got Bogrod," Ron said.

The dragon spits again, reducing Bogrod to dust.

"You were saying," I said.

"That's unfortunate," Ron said.

"We can't just stand here! Who's got an idea?" Hermione said as we are now getting shot at by spells.

"You're asking us? You're the brilliant one," Ron said.

"I've got something. But it's mad," Hermione said.

"Stupefy, Whatever it is I'd like to hear it," I said after firing a spell back.

Harry and Ron eye the approaching throng and turn back to Hermione with looks of mild panic. Steeling herself, she raises her wand.

"Relashio!" Hermione said snapping the iron cuffs on the dragon.

"That's your idea?" Ron said.

"Come on!" Harry said.

Harry fires stunning spells toward the goblins as he pelts toward the dragon and flings himself onto its neck. Hermione and Ron jump up behind and I soon follow. The dragon doesn't move.

"It doesn't realize it's free! (trying out spells) Leviosa! Aviatus! Ex Cappa! Nothing," Hermione said.

Ron and Harry glanced at each other and then as if reading each other's minds raise their wands high and, as one, jabbed the dragon with the tip of their wands. It roars, rears, and soars into the air. As it caroms off the sides of the tunnel and scrapes the ceiling, we, watch the goblins scatter like Skittles and dust and debris rain down. Harry looks back and sees the dragon's spiked tail thrashing, the tunnel caving. the dragon bursts into the main room. It soars by, wings flapping, eyes blind, gulping fresh air.

The Hall trembles and fissures appear as the dragon erupts through the floor. Pillars spill, and goblins dive for cover. The grand facade of Gringotts disintegrates as the dragon penetrates, wheels upward and beats toward the sky. The dragon soars over London, shedding scales and debris as the cool breeze bathes our blistered skin. Ron yells in delight.

"That was brilliant! BRILLIANT!" Ron said.

Ron looks down and realizes he's on a dragon, several hundred feet in the air. Goes a bit green.

"Bloody hell," Ron said and I just smile at the feeling of flight.

Later in the afternoon, the sun has dropped. Below, the dragon's giant shadow passes over patches of brown and green.

The four of us shiver as we cling to the dragon. Harry slides a few inches. He peers up, past the beast's head.

"We're dropping!" Harry said.

The dragon circles, lower and lower. A lake shimmers.

"I say we jump!" I said

"When?" Hermione said.

"NOW!" Harry said.

We drop into the water and the dragon just continues to fly I pull myself above the water and gasp for air I see the others and we crash through the water to the shore.

"He knows," Harry said.

Ron and Hermione, both dripping wet, eye Harry. His chest heaves from the swim to shore.

"You-Know-Who. He knows we broke into Gringotts. He knows what we took. He knows we're hunting Horcruxes," Harry said out of breath.

"How is it you --" Hermione said Harry cut her off.

"I saw him," Harry said.

"You let him in! Harry, you can't," Haermien said.

"I can't always help it, Hermione! (frowning) Maybe I can. I don't know," Harry said.

"Never mind! What did you see?" I said.

"He's angry. But he's scared too. He's going to make sure the other Horcruxes are safe," Harry said.

"What happens when he finds out four are gone?" Ron said.

"I reckon he'll do anything to stop us from finding the rest. There's more, one of them's at Hogwarts," Harry said.

"What?" Ron and Hermien said.

"You saw it?" Hermione said.

"I saw the castle. And Rowena Ravenclaw. I think it must have something to do with her. We have to go there, now," Harry said.

"Tonight? But we have to plan. We have to figure out what --" Hermione said but I cut her off

"Honestly, Hermione, when have any of our plans actually worked? We plan, we get there and all hell breaks loose," I said.

"Fraid he's right. One problem, Snape's Headmaster now. We can't just walk in the front door," Ron said.

"We'll go to Hogsmeade. To Honeydukes. Take the secret passage in the cellar," Harry said.

Harry looks off then, over the lake, in the direction the dragon flew off.

"There's something wrong with him. In the past, I could always follow his thoughts. Now everything feels disconnected," Harry said.

"Maybe it's because of the Horcruxes. Maybe he's growing weaker. Maybe he's dying," Ron said.

"No. It's more like he's wounded. If anything, he feels more dangerous," Harry said.

We had to go to Hogsmead but we needed a rest and it would be better to go under the cover of darkness so we rested by the lake after setting up the enchantments.

"This is it," I said as I sat with Hermione.

"What is?" Hermione said.

"I got a feeling that Hogwarts may just be the final stop on this trip of ours, our journey ends where it began," I said.

"End or not we will make it we have to not just for our future but for the future of all those we hold dear," Hermione said.

"Right end or not," I said.
