***the parents only stayed a little bit of the time that they were at starlight. All the parents are alive and well (physically anyways)***

After everything that happened on Starlight everyone wanted to just go home and get on with their normal lives, if they could get to that again. Looking out the plane's window into the sea of clouds, Garroth sighed. Everything still hurt, especially his ears. The murmur of people talking and the hum of the engines, it was all too overwhelming. He felt a tap on his shoulder and looked to his right. It was Aphmau, she gave him a small smile and handed him a thick looking beanie.

"Your ears won't hurt as bad with this on." She whispered to him. He gave her a big smile. She wasn't talking much since Aaron left but it was a start. She would get better with time, he knew she would. She is one of the strongest people he knew! He hoped they would land soon. Even without the werewolf features, planes still gave him a hard time. It wasn't too bad now that he was better and everything was over and done with, he just wanted to get home to the others who stayed behind. He wished he could have brought Laurence with him but it would have been too confusing for him, with everyone's actions towards Aaron and Aphmau. He obviously knew about what happened at the lodge, Laurence was Garroths best friend. He confided in him for that year after.

The captain came over the speaker announcing their descent to the airport. His heart began to race. He was going to see Laurence again! He could feel his tail start to wag in it's enclosed space. Aphmau glanced at him with a sad smile. She felt as if his werewolf features were her fault. Obviously he didn't blame her for what happened, it was an accident anyways. He doesn't blame them for anything.

They hit the runway and pulled up to the gate. Aphmau left their row so Garroth could grab their bags, she was just a little too short to get hers herself, Aaron always got hers for her. Aphmau huffed a little as he handed her bag to her. She gave him a small snails which he returned ten fold. The others were in a different part of the plane due to the booking being done so far apart. They did try to get seats somewhat close to each other. Garroth hoped they were at the gate waiting for them but who knows. Their families are probably there waiting for them too. As they got to the gate Aphmau's mother rushed to her, giving her a bone crushing hug. Garroth stood to the side awkwardly holding their bags. Sylvanna let her go and turned to Garroth.

"Thank you for watching over Aphmau dear, I really appreciate it!" Garroth turned to her and nodded. He handed Sylvanna Aphmau's bags and the mother and daughter duo left. He looked around for a familiar face, seeing no one he began to walk out of the building.

"Garroth?" A familiar voice called to him. Garroth turned to the sound of the voice, finding Laurence and his sister standing a few feet away.

"Laurence!" Garroth felt his heart skip a beat. He hasn't seen Laurence in years. He took a trip with his sister to see the world with her. Laurence dropped his bags and ran to give Garroth a hug.

"I missed you man. Sorry to hear about what happened." Laurence said to him as they embraced each other. The boys could hear Cadenza giggling to the side. They let go after a bit longer than a normal hug.
