"What was that?" Midoriya asked with an astonished look on his face.

"I think that was Arran but I think something else is wrong." Todoroki replied as he looked at the water. Midoriya looked at the still water with slight concern, as did Bakugo. Todoroki and Midoriya walked to the edge of the pool, it was eerily quiet. Todoroki got up and walked towards a table with swimming gear. He had an idea but he wasn't sure about how it would go, but he wanted to try.

Arran laid at the bottom of the pool shaking, when a feint splash was heard from the water. Arran peaked out from behind the rock and saw one of the humans down there with him. Arran hide behind the rock again unsure of what he was doing, Todoroki swam up to the surface for air. Bakugo and Midoriya were waiting for him anxiously at teh top to find out what was going on with Arran.

"What's he doing?" Bakugo asked as he crossed his arms.

"He's hiding behind a boulder, I think he's afraid we are going to hurt him." Todoroki replied, Bakugo raised a brow in response.

"Why would we hurt him? Is that what those smugglers did to him?" Midoriya said with concern in his voice.

"Aizawa said that the smugglers caught him because of that golden glow, so I think that he's afraid we would do the same thing to him after seeing that glow." Todoroki answered calmly. Bakugo gave a nod in response before sitting down at the edge of the pool.

"Do you think you could try to show him that we mean him no harm?" Midoriya purposed, Todoroki simply gave him a nod in return as he went back under the water. Todoroki sat down in front of the rock with his clear oxygen mask on his face, Arran took another peep and to his surprise Todoroki was there again.

Arran hesitantly swam out from behind the rock and looked at this human who was with him under the water. Todoroki was still surprise by how long his tail was and the coloration of it. Arran swam close to the human with confusion, this human couldn't breath under the water, what was he doing here?

Arran's eyes looked at the boy up and down, his facial expression must have shown he was confused because Todoroki slightly chuckled. Arran poked the mask with his finger as if he was trying to figure out what it was. Arran gave a small confused chirp as he backed away from the human. Todoroki swam up to the surface and Arran followed.

"Ah good, looks like everything went okay." Midoriya said with a sigh of relief.

"Yeah, I think he was afraid we were going to do something to him. I think it's all okay now, he's very curious of the mask. Here you can mess with it while I go change." Todoroki replied a she handed the mask to Arran. Arran looked at it with more confusion as it came off of his face, at first he was afraid it was apart of the human's face. But quickly brushed that thought aside as he disappeared into the water again.
