The trials start with Chisaki, of course, and spiral into madness from there. The man gets a life sentence in Tartarus. Expected of a high level villian with a powerful quirk.

Kurai gets 20 years for child abduction and medical malpractice. He was practically frothing at the mouth when they read the verdict, screaming that you can't abduct a quirkless because they are not human. Eventually the bailiffs managed to drag him through the door toward his transport. Aizawa was relieved he had managed to talk Izuku out of attending this one, because he really didn't need to hear that drivel.

Unfortunately no one could keep the teen from the last two trials of note.

Bakugo went first. The blonde was muzzled and chained to his bench. Announced as an incredibly violent flight risk. As the greenette entered the room behind the prosecuting lawyer, the teen made eye contact with a completely different set of red eyes. These were filled to the brim with tears and regret. Izuku allowed Mitsuki Bakugo and her quiet shadow to approach, giving her a bittersweet smile. "Hi auntie… long time no see?"

The woman sniffled before pulling the boy into a hug. "I'm so sorry Izuku," she whispered into his hair, "this is all my fault. I was just so blind. I have no idea how I missed what Inko and Katsuki were doing to you all of these years. And then for them to… to…" She cut off as her voice choked. Her husband laid a hand on her shoulder and guided her a step away from the greenette, noticing that the two men behind Izuku were eying their exchange warily.

As Mitsuk took a few deep breaths to settle herself. Masaru knelt to be below the teen's height, bowing deeply with a sincere apology dropping from his lips. The boy froze for a moment before frantically trying to pull the man up. But the brunette wouldn't be budged until he said his whole piece. "Izuku we have done wrong by you. We have always thought of you as a second son. And yet we failed both you and our blood child so spectacularly. Please, if you could ever find it in you to forgive us I swear we will do whatever we can to make this better. Not right. It will never be right. But as good as we can make it. If ever you need anything we will do anything in our power to provide it. All you need to do is say the word. Whatever. Whenever. I swear."

He didn't look up until he was done with his pre-planned speech. Finding himself face to face with tear covered freckles he huffed a half laugh before reaching up slowly to dab at chubby cheeks with his Gucci shirt sleeves. "Ah Izuku. You always were a cryer."

He was rocked back by a tackle hug as Izuku sobbed that of course he forgave them. That it wasn't really their fault. That all three of them kept how bad things were a secret from the elder Bakugos. And that he appreciated the sentiment but he really didn't need anything from them.

After that they only had a few minutes to compose themselves before they needed to take their seats on opposite sides of the courtroom. The trial… didn't go well. At first it wasn't too bad. The prosecution and defense both made their cases with little input from anyone else. A recorded interview with Izuku was played, embarrassing the shit out of the teen, though he knew that was better than being asked to go on the stand. The only way Tsukauchi had managed to wrangle the allowance for the videos was by playing the disabled card, playing on his deafness and stutter to convince both judges to submit to the special treatment.
